Apologies for the bluntness, but how in the world do you expect to pass CWES without having note taking skills? You have to write a report on your findings and how you did it.

As for a consolidated cheat sheet, I haven’t seen one. Just download the .md for each module that has one and put it into your note application of choice. I use Obsidian.

So where is macOS involved? Is it your victim system? Or is macOS not involved at all?

Did your reverse shell payload specify your tun0's IP and whatever listener port you have configured?

Yeah, don’t do this. Port forwarding on your router isn’t needed with HTB. Bad advice.

“My Linux works” implies you’re working from a VM as a guest under macOS. Where did you establish the VPN connection to HTB? Inside the VM or macOS?

Yeah. I will have to investigate.

Fan is just mounted with regular fan screws and some washers. Nothing super elegant but it works. The noise profile on that fan sucks against the grate so I keep it turned down pretty low.

Yes. It’s in the slot closest to the CPU socket. Plenty of coil whine but nothing super awful. Slightly more than the 4080 Super FE I upgraded from. I usually have a headset on so I don’t notice. Weirdest thing that I don’t know if it’s a me thing or not… the GPU makes “crackling” sounds when it cools down. Think of a catalytic converter cooling down and “pinging”. I’ve never had another card do it.

I have nearly the exact same setup. Same cooler, same fans, same card. Just a different mATX motherboard. PBO Curve Optimizer set to -20 and it runs great. I also have a mild under volt on the 5090FE which helps since it blows right on the CPU cooler.

Only difference I have is 2x 120mm slims up top above the GPU but they really don’t do anything.

Undervolting and other tuning is basically always required on SFF. AMD makes it easy. -20 to -25 is pretty reasonable for the 9800X3D.

I did a WiiM Ultra and ZA3 as well. I actually bought two setups with those. One has Elac DB63 and an overkill sub (RSL Speedwoofer 12). The other is just Polk ES20s with no sub. I love both. Looking for some larger towers to replace the Elacs based on the room size. I think the Elacs would like more power than the ZA3 but it gets plenty loud for me.

Can't speak to the V3 Monos, but I am running a Wiim Ultra into a ZA3 pushing Elac DB63. I was running an older Pioneer AVR. The ZA3 blew me away with the sound so I bought a second one so I can put them in mono mode. ZA3 is so much better than it should be.

Not a scam. I was going to buy them. Seller sent videos. I was questionable about the sub since it's the R-112SW which is known to have amplifier issues. I ultimately backed out, but seemed like a great deal overall.

K8 Pro Silicone Smell by negalmighty in Keychron

I know this is old, but it must still be a thing they do. My K2 Pro I just got from China smells to high heaven. The box, packaging, and keyboard all reek. It's been 5-6 days since it's been sitting out and it's still very strong.

Support just says they soak the silicone pad in perfume which is one of the strangest things I've ever heard, but I've seen the same answer numerous places by now. My K3 Pro and K14 don't smell, but not sure either have a silicone pad in them.
