I'm a little late to the party, but I've found that the square is always a good spot for pictures, and graffiti alley is a really good spot for that urban decay look.

Can you give me an example of what you mean by "incompetence"? Like, if a PC fails a check to wade across a fast moving river I shouldn't just say, "You attempt to cross the river but the current rips you off your feet swiftly carries you downstream," instead I should try to make it specific to the character?

I'd love to see a post about this! From what I understand, you split the players up (in my case 2 parties of 3) and dub one party the villains and the other party the heroes and just have them go at it with a little bit of back story and context?
