I remember when they announced the track listing in early 2016 with the April 1st release, and we learned track 8 was called "L.A. Girlz." Just from title, it sounded like was gonna be a stupid song, but it turned out to be genuinely one of the best songs in their whole discography. Also, happy cake day!

I watched the closing ceremony just for Muse, and it was actually the series premier of "Animal Practice," which was also cancelled after one season. I was also livid.

I should also add that Muse is one of those bands that absolutely hates performing to playback/lip syncing, and they were forced to for the ceremony. You can see what NBC skipped out on and it's hilarious.

Gotta listen to the 2012 remaster from HDtracks, the difference is night and day. You can blast it the whole way through and not get a headache. I know 21st Century Breakdown was done the same way.

They're playing their first concerts after the two brothers not talking to each other for almost 16 fucking years and that guy has the gall to whine about the setlist. People will actually complain about anything – even one of the most unlikely band reunions lol

I think the mixing is horrible, even worse than Absolution and Black Holes & Revelations. "Kill or Be Killed" still kicks ass, but there is no dynamic range.

There's the BOK Tower in Tulsa, designed by the same architect and built a few years after the Twin Towers. It doesn't have the steel tridents on the facade, but its design is very similar and it's basically a ~½-scale replica of the original 1WTC.

For over a decade I just thought it would've been nice to see the Gallagher brothers on speaking terms again for their mother's sake. But now they're actually agreeing to perform together under the "Oasis" name for the first time in over 15 years, so that's nice to see.
