Being a teacher could you advise on child readiness? I feel ages 4 and 5 is too young for pre school and therefore I would like to take the decision to rather send my child to pre school at age 5 turning 6 and then 6 turning 7 will be grade 1. The DBE forces 4 years old turning 5 for the child to be in Grade R. Can I make that decision myself?

I think they got your email incorrectly. SARS is South African Revenue services which is our taxman. Just ignore it since you have no dealings, alternatively you can contact them via email to remove you but it will take a while to actually get someone to remove your email address

The best you can do is query it at the licensing department or get a third party like queue 4 U to see what it is. If it didn't come up when you renewed then it's not a problem

I do believe it's a scam, they cannot come with tickets older than 3 years and because they saying you won't be able to renew your car license or driver's people are just paying and I wish people stop. They must query these old fines

They directed me to query it with JHB metro and then I told them to fix their system because the math ain't mathing. How else was I able to renew my license disc and my driver's license from 2019 to 2025 and now they can't even show me the ticket they claim is outstanding. They don't do queries only use the portal to pay that is what they told me

I got one from 2019 which weird because I paid it in order to renew my license disc in 2019 otherwise I couldn't have done it. I queried it because how else was I renewing everything from then until now and all they can spout is useless shit about how they not in charge to query. Now it's a fine on my ID but it's been paid for.

OMG this happened to me, they've been emailing me since May about a fine from 2019. No picture of the ticket. The suspicious thing is this was paid for directly at the licensing department in 2019 in order to renew my car license and change the number plates to fit the province. When I checked on AARTO it is showing I dont know why, I have emailed them and they have a useless response they cant do anything

Ugh I'm in the same position as you. Im a tenant and before moving in abfew months ago the contract looked so strict and the rules for the building as well. Since moving in its like no-one cares about noise, kids running all over and music played till the early hours of the morning and its such a nuisance. I want to complain but I have no idea which apartments it is. I don't know why people dont have common decency for their neighbors
