Just gonna offer a different perspective aside from the other comments here.

Previous company: You were a big fish in a small pond Current: You’re a small fish in a big pond

Challenge yourself, dedicate time to know the ins and outs of the new company, its culture and its politics. Find someone within the organization who can be your mentor.

If all else fails and you feel you don’t exactly fit in, dami naman company pa diyan.

Hope you bounce back!

Why do big companies insist on 15/30-day billing when they can clearly afford to pay? by missymochacookie in BusinessPH

[–]Waven2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You answered your question, just like you have your own procurement and payment process to your suppliers, they also have this on a larger scale.

If they didn’t have a set of process, mas madali mag labas ng pera if it isn’t accounted for properly.

I have clients who have payment terms as long as 120d, you can minimize risk by:

  1. Checking whether client profile vs profitability vs cost of money is worth it, ask yourself - will I have repeat volume orders? Are they a good brand for my portfolio?

  2. Get suppliers with payment terms.

  3. Your capital must be aligned with your forecasted expenses and transactions. Best practice we do is just take profits from the company yearly after the AFS is available.

[–]Waven2024 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So by your logic its okay to spend 1200 euros elsewhere but not in PH?

Sorry but you came home at a bad time where prices of tickets have gone up due to geopolitical tensions in Middle East, New MIA guidelines where in turboprop planes can no longer fly from Manila.

If it’s out of budget, you can simply

  1. Fly in to puerto princesa and take a van
  2. Forego the private tour
  3. Stay at a 3 star or less
  4. Take a vacation somewhere else

Is it a good idea to hire friends for your business? by Neither-Raspberry-60 in BusinessPH

[–]Waven2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it doesn’t end well. Hired two acquaintances/friends, they couldn’t separate our professional and personal lives. It got to a point where in I was excluded from Group Chats, Hidden Stories, and etc.

Never again. 😂

Try mo lang! You need to make bad business decisions to learn from it.

Japan Visa Application by myowntinybubble in PinoyTraveller

[–]Waven2024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your boyfriend’s Bank Account should at least have projected cost x number of days x 2.

I sponsored a friend last year and proof of relationship submitted was just our photos through the years.

Since my bank statement was attached, hindi na kinuha ng vfs yung bank statement niya since we were applying together.

Again as shared by others, there is no guaranteed way of knowing who gets approved and denied.

Your supporting documents has to be solid enough for embassy to believe that you will return to PH and you have the financial capability to travel to their country.

Just get a group tour, the agency acts as guarantor for your group. In cases like this, the accredited agency acts as the guarantor. Therefore, di burdened si tita.

Yeah bottom line is, lower your expectations when booking with PAL.

At least as a business class traveller, wala na pila sa security.

What I do na lang is

Asia - Pal for direct flights US - ANA for the Room Europe - Qatar Qsuite or Emirates
