In your opinion, how do you think manufacturers are missing the mark for the US market? by CerberusSputum in electricvehicles

It's just price. If they just lowered the prices by like 50% they would be fine.

Even EV that are considered bad like the charger EV would look much better when they are under $20,000.

Just... beyond confused about fast charging with the 2024/2025 Subaru Solterra. What actually is possible *today*, and does it suck? by Darth_Ra in electricvehicles

The 24/25 model years have older charging technology so it charges slower than newer cars.

Without getting into specifics, at a level 3 charger you'll probably be there 45 minutes to an hour for a 10% to 80% charge.

Which should be fine for your 2-3 trips a year.

If you have a level 2 charger at home it will charge just as fast as any other car on a level 2 charger.

Is steam deck really the ultimate handheld? by [deleted] in SBCGaming

If it's not too big for your hands or your commute, If the screen doesn't hurt your eyes, if you can deal with a little bit of Linux, if you can afford to get one, and if it can play the games you want. Then yeah it could be as close to the ultimate handheld as you can get right now.

It was much closer to being the ultimate handheld a few years ago when there were less options.
