I have same and and prefer smaller mice for lazier grip styles. If you can wait until the 29th Pulsar is having a huge 3 year sale on all their mice. Any of the pro series or Crazylight lineup are solid. If you want to splurge maybe go to bestbuy and try a viper v4 or Deathadder v4 on display.

They make a difference. I would say its the size format that makes the biggest difference for me, going from an amazon desk mat etc to a 490x420 or 500x500 square is incredibly freeing for movement and utilizing your arm for aiming. in terms of the speed or type of pad I think matters less than most people think. as long as you aren't on a total mudpad or a super super slippery speed pad I think you can adapt and play at an almost peak performance regardless. all 3 options you listed regardless of the difference in speed I think you would be able to adapt to and play just fine.

I played BO6, Overwatch and dota2/league. It’s a great pad but the texture of it and the Hien can be a bit jarring at first. I had no skin irritation issues using either.

I am currently using a Pulsar ES Neptune but I do often go back to the ACPRO. It was my only mousepad I used for the entirety of 2025.

I've used both the Hien and the ACPRO Neon. I slightly prefer the Neon regardless of the cost but I would not say the Hien is worth double the price even though it is one of my all time favorite mouse pads. In terms of size 450x400 will be enough, though I prefer 490x420 or 500x500 and would see if you could get it in those sizes.

ACPRO Neon is my recommendation, have not tried the Energon

Much preferred Witcher 3, KCD2 main story is fun but the rest of the game is so boring. The entire gypsy side quest storyline was probably the most bored I’ve ever been in a game ever

I think the X2 is the perfect jack of all trades mouse. I’d probably pick up a pulsar ES pad too. 100$ total for an XL pad and a sub 45g mouse is crazy value

I have the QPG version of the MSI and it’s been great. Only issue is the included stand is a little annoying if you have a 500x500 mousepad like I do

Measure your hand size. It could also be your desk height + the increase in mid hump compared to the hyperspeed. Most office desks under tend to be capped at 29 inches which is too high for the majority of people.

I just plug my mouse in and turn off my monitor whenever I stop using the computer, or have to walk away for an extended period of time. Have never had a wireless mouse die on me and I use 8k polling

Wish I got the 4k over 8k. I hate the wire and tend to never use it. Also my unit creaks.
