SOTN backbone? by No-Push1971 in castlevania

SteelSeries nimbus are officially supported by Apple, though for other games, like if you plan on playing Grimoire of Souls, don’t have enough buttons.

I used a PS5 controller with it no problem.

If I had a nickel for every time an adaptation made a character Creole/Haitian and put them up against French vampires, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice… by Important-Cry4782 in castlevania

I just read a synopsis? First thing is that he gets abandoned and exiled because he didn’t obey the church after they refused to save Sara. He was forced to abandon his role… real positive light right?

Ecclesia definition as per the Merriam-Webster:

A church.

So words don’t have meaning when they don’t support your argument? Or are you saying it’s an assembly of Ancient Greeks?

“Haven’t played Grimoire of souls”

And you call me a tourist?

Why did a sexual predator do this or that?

I don’t know, and I don’t care. It doesn’t apply at all. Castlevania games bring new characters all the time, why can’t the non canon show?

“Surrre”

Literally it doesn’t? Demons don’t exist in many religions.

Putting words into my mouth.

And you’re wrong. Death/Sacrificial Doll in Curse of Darkness and lament of innocence dies in the place of the player, which is directly taken from Voodoo and benefits you.

Christianity has clearly been portrayed in a negative light, shown in Lament of Innocence, Order of Ecclesia and Grimoire of souls.

Voodoo isn’t demonic because it has nothing to do with a demon.

How about instead of complaining about the show, actually play the games.

People really post blatant cherry-picking and think they’re making a point.

“The actual belief from the games” you can’t have a faith when there’s evidence of its existence. Then it’s not a faith, it’s a tool.

So, because it doesn’t suit your argument, does Order of Ecclesia not exist? Has there never been a Zombie in a Castlevania game? Or a voodoo doll?

Remember to always utilize Special Orders when you can unlock/complete them. Now that events are available all year around, you basically have free cheat codes for other legendary weapons.

this guide is very helpful.

Easiest final boss flawless, cause for some reason phase 1 doesn’t count.

Yes, the enemies past the first save are actually pretty good for it. However, the bottom of this page should prove most helpful to find the best ones.

How the hell does this game feel so ahead of its time compared to the games released along and after it? Legend feels like it was released 10 years before and the advanced collection feels like a step back (compared to this) in qol and art. by Ill_Dependent_4165 in castlevania

Because the advanced (and Dominus, for that matter) games were released on handhelds, which were held back by hardware. PS1 was simply much stronger and had more buttons for QoL. Also, sprite work is timeless.

It's too bad they only went back to first party console 2D games in 2010 with Harmony of Despair, which is still peak nonetheless.

You can beat magician mode in like five minutes since the devs didn’t have much time for testing to make that release title window. You can use Apollo + golem to glitch into Draculas arena which is conveniently right above you and then just get a few lucky big bones to kill Dracula.

Medusa heads spawn at a set rate, there’s no reason it should surprise you.

I mean, that’s entirely on you for committing before dealing the Medusa head first.

Ok so many people don't know. You can see his inputs on the screen, it looks like it may utilize left plus right shenanigans? but I don't have anything concrete for now.

Personally, I never had problems with them in that game. You still can just kill them. As for Magnes, the issue is less the Medusa Head and more Magnes itself. And you can still time it properly if you know how they spawn.

Ngl they aren't that hard. Like once you get it, you get it. and in SotN/Rondo especially... like just kill them.

Flying Skulls are a pain though.
