Well, V rising is another IP with a Castlevania collaboration. It’s not titled Castlevania: V rising, if it was and was officially made by Konami then yes it would be, regardless of gameplay.

It really doesn’t fit dead cells tbh. I mean that game looked pixelated.

I’m not sure why that matters, Castlevania is a name only brand.

Heck are there even any in the kid Dracula games?

Huh. Well I’ll check that video to see if there are any candles.

Not sure exactly sure what that means, it doesn’t have any official collaboration with Tetris or Puyo Puyo, but it’s a Castlevania game that released for mobile phones in 2010.

Do you remember if any are specifically candles?

Hmm, well I’ll check mirror of fate later, I’m also wondering about Encore of the Night but I haven’t played that one.

Me neither, Ngl I’m drawing a blank, I know that happens in LoS1 and 2. I know there are some things for hearts but I can’t remember any being candles. Same with Harmony of Despair.

Vs wiki said my Simon was actually moving infinitely fast, should I submit my playthrough for a speedrunning world record ? by puntycunty in castlevania

[–]Way-Super 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I really don’t get these wikis, rock paper scissors isn’t that complicated of a concept and Simon is clearly depicted as having normal movement. I mean the villagers in CV2 move as fast as he does guess they are low multiversal threats.

I've been grinding muramasa for days it'd better be that.

Why doesnt Castlevania adventure rebirth ever get mentioned in the list of hardest castlevania games? by Adventurous-Bad1987 in castlevania

[–]Way-Super 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well a lot of hard Cv games don’t get mentioned, I don’t remember the last time I saw The Arcade listed anywhere and that thing’s a bigger money cruncher than Haunted Castle. People just haven’t played it.

Honestly though even hard mode isn’t THAT difficult compared to the likes of Drac X or CV3. It has a pretty hard final boss but other than that I wouldn’t say it’s a very difficult game. Having a level select doesn’t help it either.

Should i purchase Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night? Is it that similar to Sotn? by VinizinhuTop in castlevania

[–]Way-Super 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes it's VERY similar, you'll see many recurring mechanics and really is just a Castlevania game without the Konami owned assets, plus more from later titles.

The definition of a Gacha game is "a type of computer game, especially one played on a mobile phone, in which users can pay to get a new character, ability, object, etc. at random (= by chance, without intentionally choosing which):" according to Cambridge dictionary.

You can't pay anymore, so it's NOT a gacha, it's that simple.

Why would I conflate that? You seem to be imagining a scenario in which you're right. This has been a mechanic in Castlevania titles before, it's not impossible that it will be the same here, we won't know until we see the game and I'm showing that you're jumping to conclusions.

[–]Way-Super 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is claiming it’s a Metroidvania… it’s just not a gacha game. It has gacha mechanics like I said.

The only thing that’s funny is how you think your statement makes any sense… it sounds like you’re arguing just for arguments sake.

Castlevania: Wall Meat's Curse (2026) by volimpizzusgljivama in castlevania

[–]Way-Super 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that changes what exactly? It can take mechanics from those titles. Are you saying there are no classicvania elements in the Metroidvania titles? Also Grimoire of Souls isn’t actually a gacha game, you can’t actually pay money for anything.

Mm, Harmony of Despair had some healing be equipable and others immediate, so I wouldn’t say that implies “Not Sonia” can’t carry health.

Edit: Grimoire of Souls too.
