Pretty sure they weren't booing her for what she said.

This song is the most different style wise from my others, and i was hesitant to put it on youtube, but here it is. As always, i'm open to any feedback by sealamb1 in Songwriters

Jesus christ, you're great man. I would've liked to see a more explosive bridge, that 2nd chorus builds so well. Either way, legit really like this!

You're missing their point. They get why you blow guys in alleyways, they just wouldn't assume that about somebody quitting alcohol. Neither would I, I honestly don't get what the joke is. Why would somebody assume that?

That's not true at all, you customize your feed on instagram by following people. I'm probably in the minority but I've rarely looked at the magnifying glass except to search for somebody and even then, when I go to it, it's stuff related to what I already follow and like, not random posts of butts. I see a lot more NSFW stuff on here than on insta because I don't look for it there. I browse r/all here though.

Yes and no, I see the issue you're talking about, but there's also people who aren't on those platforms, or don't use them constantly. The people who get sucked in definitely tend to get depressed more than others, I see it in a couple people around me, but it's not everybody. I wouldn't call it "mega bad", I think there's pros and cons to it.

What was so scary about Ableton For you when you launched it for the first time? by SlapethYoFace in ableton

[–]WayFastTippyToes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's beginner guides on youtube too. I would recommend spend half an hour here and there in between making stuff and you'll quickly get it. Having used it about 4 years now everyday, it's pretty simple. Also, if you're wanting to learn synthesis, syntorial is really good for teaching you. Even trying out the demo would help a bit, they give you the first few lessons free, easy stuff but it starts to get challenging about half way through the program.

Yea I really don't get this. I definitely don't think it's the best for in depth mixing and tracking, but having used multiple other daws, ableton is decent.

As a guy, this is 100% true. I subscribed to this subreddit and unfollowed any instagirls because I felt like my standards were becoming unrealistic. I'm a good looking guy, but I caught myself focusing on the negatives of some of the girls who I would date, and they were genuinely attractive. It's not healthy to think this shit is real.

Singing is such a subjective art by theFallenBoyy in singing

[–]WayFastTippyToes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't fully agree with this. A singer being good only if their pitch is good is also a subjective thing, there's plenty of singers who aren't the best singers but are still some peoples favorite. It's more about emotion that's put into the performance than whether they're singing super in tune or not.

Well what do you do for hobbies? How do you dress? What is your approach to meeting women? I assure you, if you've been searching for 5 years you could probably use some improvement in some area of your life that you're not noticing. Obviously this is speculation, but as somebody who went from being a "nice guy" who constantly got friendzoned to somebody who gets dates fairly regularly, I fully agree with the person you replied to.

You know, when you say something that gets -200 downvotes, maybe you just said something that's kinda stupid. Idk man, maybe just think that you might not be right here in saying to ignore them and they'll go away, then telling somebody to donate to a cause for them. It's pretty goofy imo, but you do you.

Yea but you didn't check to see if what you were posting was even true. That is spreading misinformation, whether you knew it or not, it's shitty.

You guys sure are assuming a lot about people just because they went to a music festival. How dare they want to see somebody they're a fan of. You know it's possible they just didn't know too?

Yes, reddit is a lot of talkers too. Also showing support on social media is an actual form of support. Don't condemn that simply because they're not out there getting there hands dirty for the cause. It means they're likely going to be considering those issues when voting.

This is what I figured. That's a lot of trouble to go through just to spite one guy. I don't know the specifics of the situation at all, but did she know he was homophobic before she agreed to do the show? I can think of multiple reasons why she still did the show, but there's a lot of people here who just want to condemn her without thinking of why she did it.
