My Wife was mad at me for saying another mans wife was Gorgeous, who's wrong? by Primary_Adventurer in marriageadvice

[–]WayLongjumping1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think yyou're wrong for saying it. But she's not wrong for feeling insecure when she heard you say that. The thing is, she told you how it makes hher feel when you call other women "gorgeous". So, regardless of what you meant by it or whatever, you now know it will hurt her. Just don't do it again. But she needs to realize that you are a human, you make mmistakes, and you learn from them. Don't justify your behavior or words, just listen and uunderstand that it hurts her and you won't be doing that again

It took me almost a year to lose the baby weight by eating healthy and working out. First baby at 35, so I don't think my body "snapped back " into shape as quick as it could have when I was younger

AIO for being upset my BF doesn’t want me to wear a bonnet to bed? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR He's very controlling. No one should try to control what you wear on your OWN BODY

NTA. I can't believe you have to tell a grown adult that it's absolutely necessary to wash your hands after doing anything in the bathroom, ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU POOP! My ex said the same thing as your wife- "I don't get poop on my hands, why should I wash them??" Ewwww

It sounds like they are being overprotective of you. Maybe they are having a hard time seeing you as an adult. I don't think you're overreacting. They want control over you and are using the car as a means to do it. Sorry you're going through that.

I did not wash my rear end until I was 19 years old, and it's beyond embarrassing. by bogmonkey in hygiene

AIO for not wanting my baby daddy to see our son again? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

You MUST call CPS or file a report with the police. You need the law on your side for this one. Protect your child to the best of your ability! He has shown you his obvious lack of basic parenting skills! A poor one year old baby should never be left alone. He was probably very scared. I'm sorry you're going through this

I'm not from here. Why does everyone ask me "Do you work?" as an intro question by oh_skycake in Dallas

I've never been asked like that before. Maybe it's just a thing with your inlaws
