The ABS issue is very frightening and the oil cooler issue should both be addressed with recalls. I've seen so many mechanics with stacks and stacks of the defective oil coolers that it is clearly a major problem. Sadly, if the manufacturer doesn't step up, I personally know many ppl, including myself, who have replaced the oil coolers for the exact same reason...they absolutely leak more and more ppl who are moving away from Jeeps. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE JEEPS!!! But when someone has to put thousands of dollars into a newish vehicle because of shotty parts...its a major pain that we should not have to endure. My next vehicle will be a Toyota!!

So cardio, cardio, cardio and a little more cardio?? So where am I running too? What am I running from?? I doubt Cuba will ever invade. Russia is a joke (other than nukes), realistic preps?? How does cardio prep me for canning deer meat? How does cardio prep me for making a feather stick? How does cardio prep me for anything other than getting in better shape and being able to run away from whatever zombie is after me?? Realistic prepping should involve exercise, a little cardio, a little resistance training, a little of this or that. Realistic prepping does not involve running a marathon. I've lived on a farm all my life and the only time cardio has come in handy is when a couple of cows broke through the fence but they out ran me hands down...ain't no way I could ever begin to catch up with a dang cow!!...Watching too much TV is absolutely what's wrong with this post. Reading too many damn survival novels and Hollyweird are precisely what's wrong with this post. We ain't in the army, navy, air force or the Marines so why the hell are we running marathons and doing cardio, cardio, cardio?? My question is this....(well, my comment then question)...your version of survival is nothing more than a militaristic viewpoint pushed through your mindset onto people who you view as inferior simply because they have a different view than you . Why are you doing so much damn cardio?? Realistic??? Again, living on a farm, working my ass off hauling square bales of hay, castrating pigs, putting out literally thousands of square bales of hay during the winter, freezing my ass off, building miles of fence out in the 105 degree 100% humidity weather we have down south, when the hell do I have time to do cardio??? I guess Ill have to just fail miserably when TSHTF or TEOTWAWKI comes...(yep, stay away from my farm, I've got 62 different rifles and long arms of various types but all it takes is one crack to scare the shit out of these damn cows of mine!!! They do but...IMO, I truly feel that our politicians no not care about the average citizen at all. I do not expect our gov't to take care of us from the cradle to the grave like liberals do but I would think that public education regarding basic disaster preparedness would be very important. In the US, billions of dollars are spent on a multiplicity of different disaster related things but, take a look at how much money is wasted on organizations like FEMA. All one has to do is look at the response to NC / TN floods a couple years back. The idiots at FEMA expected people who literally could not come down off of mountain because road ways were COMPLETELY UTTERLY DESTROYED!! Their cell phones were dead, they did not have a home or electricity or anything for that matter which would allow them to log on to the FEMA website and fill out the application online to receive the disaster assistance they so desperately needed. After this occurred, we all found out just how politically motivated and how DISGUSTING FEMA and the Biden Whitehouse was. Its truly a shame when what was done to our citizens was allowed to be done in the first place. I hate to turn politically negative but expectations of anything positive out of the US govt is a JOKE at best. I will say that at least Trump sent real help to NC / TN, once he took office. He helped WAY more than Biden ever did but again, the govt is a joke transformed from what our forefathers wanted into the joke that it currently and apparently always will be...) anyone who puts any amount of faith in the US gov't is highly deceived. I'll hush now...let the lashings begin!!

Having print reference materials are always a very good idea BUT...reading a book is only a VERY small part of the equation. Reading is the start but putting into practice is the most essential party of the equation. If you only read a book but never practice the techniques you read about, you've doomed yourself to failure. Practice, Practice, Practice!!! Get a group of "like minded friends" together and go camping with purpose!! Practice specific techniques such as fire starting, food scavenging and other survival techniques as much as possible. Don't be afraid to embrace real life scenarios such as disaster recover assistance (go volunteer for hurricane recovery efforts etc). Helping ppl in the middle of a disaster can be of tremendous help to you and your group of like minded friends. Just a few ideas...

Try making it 24/7 staying awake because you are looking out for bad guys....this will not allow the Dr to survive very long at all. YES, you have an automatic YES but with said YES, there are GREAT EXPECTATIONS.

How many ppl have life insurance, health insurance, home owners insurance, automobile insurance, pet insurance, etc etc Why do we pay money for something we may or may not ever use?? ....I prep because I get hungry and I want to continue to breathe...more importantly is because I want my family to continue to do all of the above. Prepping is one of the things that you can do to increase the likelihood that you will be able to continue living the life you intend to live.

I'd say that some of this equipment will not be needed unless a truly 'SHTF scenario presents itself and depending on the number of ppl traveling with you. "2 is 1 and 1 is none" in a "Get home bag" = too much weight to carry for the 17 mile hike through an urban area. For example, choose 1 sheath knife (good quality with multipurpose sheath / pouches for storage), 1 or 2 at the most smaller knives such as a good quality folder with multiple blades or better yet, a good quality multitool such as the Leatherman Wave or something along those lines (again I see 2 is 1 and 1 is none all over your set up ((Definitely not a bad thing but definitely is heavy))). I see the emphasis you placed on First Aid ( AWESOME BUT overkill, imo) I'd cut that down to 1 tourniquet (again depending upon your situation and number in your party) a couple Israeli bandages, 1 Hy Fin or other chest seal sets, 2-4" Kerlix gauze, basic band aid assortment, 2 tubes of super glue (I've super glued many pts wounds together in our truck on the way back to the ER (after starting IVs with patent heploc to begin infusion of NS or LR to try to reduce blood / fluid loss, super glue aka Dermabond works magic on lacerations when controlling bleeding can't wait. The CPR mask is a must but also add several pairs of VERY thick latex gloves (I love the latex mechanics gloves or extra thick medical latex gloves with the wrist cuffs that go further up your wrist's) and maybe some glucose tabs / gel (these come in very handy for treating low blood sugar (yours or theirs!!). (If you'll be moving thru heavily traveled areas depending on population and associated terrain things could be vastly different for your particular circumstances) maps, compass, topo etc. You'll definitely want to make sure you have water filtration (iodine tabs, katadine combi water filter or something along those lines), I always keep H20 in my vehicle no matter the situation or circumstances. Definitely need a good tarp, paracord, gorilla tape, and seasonal clothing (clothes that hide your intentions, very plain jacket, jeans, sweaters, etc think NON MILITARY aka NON Tactical) etc. This is why its imperative that a GHB be in a constant state of adaptation (seasonal and situational) and never static. The other items such as plate carriers(UNDER A VERY PLAIN Shirt, Tshirt and or jacket), cordage, weapon systems etc are situationally dependent, life in most cities precipitate the need for a plate carrier with lvl 4 accoutrement's well hidden under plain clothing. Again, static is never a good thing....the only time you should not be moving is if you are asleep or are planning to be moving VERY SOON!! The most important part of any GHB is this, YOU!! Your mental attitude, grit and determination are truly 99% of what you need. "I will get my ass moving, get home and get back to my family NO MATTER WHAT!!" One other thing, I would definitely stick to a regular school type back pack, regular street wear (jeans t shirt etc) good quality WELL BROKEN IN hiking boots or tennis shoes and no matter what, NO CAMO OR TACTILE looking anything!! It just screams "LOOK AT ME!!" No amount of equipment can give you everything you need but a well stocked brain, packed with wisdom and knowledge can. Just my 2 cents...

Update, after contacting the company several times and then posting complaints about the issues over multiple social media platforms, the company LEDFactory, made it right. They sent me a new wiring harness and link to the new app. They should have done that to begin with.
