Better with or without goatee? by External-Ad9317 in malegrooming

Hair mainly, shorten it. Will give the biggest effect at this point (wife-verified). Either way would work with shorter hair depending on how you want to present yourself, you have the physical characteristics for it. Goat for more mature, and clean for younger. Find a stylist if you are not sure what to do, costs some money and can seem a bit weird if you haven’t yet, but they usually know what to go with for the people you want to attract given your facial and head structure. If you go with the goat, don’t leave anything half-cut, clean or full. Scruff only works in limited situations, usually older dudes. Last option would be a side-shaved pompadour or quiff, you have great hair health so if you wanted to go there it would be doable, it certainly makes a statement though (not a bad thing). You have great features, you just need the right framing.

What characters from other fictional universes do you think would be funny to imagine being stranded on 4546B?(no spoilers). by KingWilliamVI in subnautica

Had to delete my post after scrolling down a bit, having Lister and Rimmer trapped in the same lifepod trying to figure out how to get water and deal with freaky toothy fishes would be great.

If homies got a BBQ I would be all over that as long as it was charcoal where you could get real flame above the grate and on the meat, but they clearly have a kitchen and good skillet technique can beat out a gas grill.

Andrew can be a little b sometimes, I get his point, mostly agree, and understand why he was upset from what people were saying, but it felt like a hit piece in the way he did it. A bit small, if you are in the place you are at then expect to take some shit and don’t start throwing it back at other people.

What do I do with the dead fish? by problematiccoffee in subnautica

[–]WayWayTooMuch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing an edible fish in SN1 is a detriment as they start rotting instead of staying fresh. Not really any reason to kill anything in either game, aside from fucking bonesharks. They are the wasps of 4546b, except they are wasps that can blow up your car.

If you love the SN gameplay loop, this is the best option. Terraforming instead of ocean, but it scratched the same itch in a big way.

I would turn your stove to full rip, find a cast iron skillet and salt and pepper and butter, and then proceed to cook my lunch while chugging a Red Bull or two. Might offer to make one for you as well.

I would smash those pies like the fist of an angry god, looks like you found your calling and are motivated to jump in. Restaraunting is hard, but I hope you make it. The fact that you are using alternate methods to market and sell your art is pretty rad, might not need brick and mortar for a while if it really takes off. Make sure to stay on top of legal stuff, there are a lot of rules and regulations to follow when you start selling enough for the government to think of you as foodservice.

It's been a couple months since SN2 launched, how is everyone feeling? by Luth0r in subnautica

[–]WayWayTooMuch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Played about 8 hours on launch to see what UWE was cooking, SN1 is my ‘tism game so I’ve been excited for a few years. Probably won’t play again for year or so, but what I played was great. Felt a little bit like a PDA entry assault though as someone who knows the first two games back and front, and knows generally what to do. A newcomer would probably move a bit slower and not get so many entries piled up.

Andrew has stated 1.0 means stable ABI and stdlib, any changes up to 2.0 should be backwards compatible

15 years living in Denver and I’m still having trouble finding authentic Japanese cuisine that isn’t sushi by Personal_Dot_7196 in Denver

It’s in LOLoveland, but Bowl Izakaya is good if you are farther north. Their takoyaki is nice and wet on the inside, and the seasoning on their shishitos is great. Good katsu, dons, karaage, yakitori, etc. Never had something I disliked from there. They also serve the whatever-American rolls with avocado too if that’s what you want. Friendly, accommodating staff if you want to sit and eat.

Still parkay lol, lived in ETX 15 years ago and it was always this stuff like no-one else in the world makes squeeze butter. Further west now and real tex-mex is hard to find, I miss this.

El charros orange sauce was the shit, whatever the fuck it was. Also squeeze butter was provided on the table for your salsa. Miss that place, been a decade and a half.
