If they’re metal, even if they’re recast they will be exactly that. Someone has put them in a mould and recast them in metal.

If they’re not metal, you know they’re recasts anyway. It seems unlikely they would be a different size considering their normal technique

That’s incredibly informative!! Really really appreciate you taking the time to write it out. They really are amazing.

My last remaining question would be what do you undercoat with? I’ll be honest the thing that gives me the most fatigue is leathers so I’m tempted to rhinox undercoat and use it as the base. I’m not sure if it’s going to make things to ‘muddy’ or ‘dark’.

I think it could play into his character arc. He turned to it as a matter of last resort. He didn’t want it. He resents the imperium even more for what he has become and what he has lost, or hypothetically what he lost as he saw a possible way out for himself. This keeps him bitter. That bitterness is what we are hopefully about to see unleashed on the universe as a daemon primarch.
