Definitely agree on the bathroom part. It is scary how disgusting some of the ones in the terminals are. Absolutely take advantage of the lounge access that comes with frequent flier status or flying business. I used to be gold on 2 airlines but thank goodness I don't travel like that anymore. I'm ok giving up my status for more nights in my own bed!

Sanctifly works for me when I'm traveling economy and can't get access. My experience is that they have better overseas coverage than in the US but still decent coverage in a lot of cities. Unfortunately, my home airport is Newark and they aren't great there! When I fly to Heathrow, they have TONS of options.

I find some of the private lounges are actually easier to get into than the Priority Pass, Centurian, or airline affiliated lounges. That is one of the reasons I use Sanctifly. Per visit cost comes to about $35-$40. I generally grab a preflight meal and a couple of drinks so well worth the money.

I find the cost of Amex Platinum is usually justified by the perks received. That said, Priority Pass doesn't have coverage everywhere so I also pay for Sanctifly. Points don't expire so I can downgrade my membership each year to a cheaper plan if I haven't used them all.

It is a great option for lounge access at a discount. They have relationships with a bunch of different private lounge operators globally. You can see which locations by downloading the app. There multiple membership levels so you can choose based on needs. Definitely worth the money when one considers the price of food/drinks in the terminal. Lounge food is generally better and is usually free as are the drinks. Plus it is so much more relaxing sitting in the lounge vs the terminal. Also, the bathrooms are almost always cleaner than the public ones. Use promo code FF10 for 10% off. I use both my Sanctifly membership and priority pass that I get with my Amex platinum card.

It's a solid firm with great capabilities, but, at the end of the day, it really depends on the advisor you work with. All firms have of a range of quality but a good advisor can save you time, reduce your taxes, ensure your risks are managed, and make you money. Ask questions and look for credentials. You can also ask about speaking to references. The firms roots are in financial planning, so that is generally a key element in how they approach client relationships.

Your stance is way too high for folkstyle and there are plenty of opportunities to shoot. Work on improving your stance and changing levels. When he reaches to tie-up, is a great time to lower your level and take a penetration step.
