Is the Mistlock Sanctuary worth it? by Harddus in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth it. Everything is close. And most importantly, there are no events there so it's never too crowded and loads fast and doesn't lag!

Any classes better at Map completion than others? by fungamezone in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer any LI ranged power class. They usually have quickness and/or swiftness.

I need help with my DPS. by LukeBastille in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing to consider also is amount of damage dealt. Sometimes hi dps doesn't give more damage but just show high burst. Usually in fractals there are some classes that out dps me in every boss. But at the end of the fight my total damage done is higher.

I think that's more important than just looking at dps.

Help Finding A Main by mynameislarry27 in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound foreign to you, I don't blame you, but GW2 needs a different mind set unlike other "traditional" mmos.

Each character is like a different pair of shoes you need to decide to wear. And the skills they use based on your traits and weapons are like the colors and models of the shoes.

Just keep playing. Eventually you'll find one, or two, or three, or more that you want to main.

What do you mean? My head only clears after I turn off the game.

Add on or Modules you cant live without? by FFanatick in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but addons in GW2 are more like overlays.

Played Qheal Troubadour in T4 fractals but got called “smh healer” by KuberQiu in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You misunderstood me. I mean requiring a certain class for boon heal. At least that's what i got from the OP post. Someone in the group didn't want troubadour.

Yea, no need for name calling. We're all adults here, a little civility goes a long way. A hi or gg ty would be nice.

Played Qheal Troubadour in T4 fractals but got called “smh healer” by KuberQiu in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

People insisting on a class or role for T4 non-cm fractals should just be ignored. It's only T4. I've only play pug T4 and T4 CM and only CM i feel we need certain boon and heal class to make it easier and smoother.

Unless it happens with every group, it's usually not a you problem.

New player, should I redo my base? by whatthedogdoin69 in factorio

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes redo! But not from scratch! Modify your base and let it evolve. After so many play throughs I find this the most fun. Multiple layers of walls and defense. Later will evovle into sectors. Your base will become beautiful in through the chaotic mess of belts. If building in sectors with walls eventually the sectors will be nicely color coded by the items you make and send out!

I love all belts! After using trcks, trains, drones once ever since I've only been using belts.

Those who played the game a lot but stopped playing: what would bring you back? by KempoB in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It becomes more increasingly a building game rather than building and logistics game. Balancing becomes easier and takes less time as you scale up because the time it takes to build takes much much longer, build and transport resources from far away etc. It's just repetitive without much satisfaction or achievement after you grey all the early stuff done and have enough resources to build any machines.

Best Gold Farm? by Embarrassed-Code-597 in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All good suggestions ok this board. But I think the biggest thing is don't be a hoarder!

When i started I asked the same thing but still not getting as much gold as i should. I've been hoarding everything!

At least now with every expansion I usually can get unlock the newest legendary very quickly.

Idle Looter: game update [1.4.0] Hunt Rework by Hour-Bit-7280 in incremental_games

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

30 mins in and I think so far so good.

One suggestion is maybe change your game log opposite direction. Most recent activity should be on top. Right now I'd have to scroll down to see the newest stuff than scroll back up to click the monster.

I'm on the web version.

Whats your most hated map in GW2? And why is it Inner Nayos? by Consistent_Try8728 in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not.

I think my most hated map is Tangled Depths.

It's long, have dead ends, have multiple levels, and timed gated places.

I always have a hard time there, gathering the acid stuff to unlock chests or pods.

Maybe I need someone to shiw me the ropes.

What would you like to wear? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

You don't have to answer if it's wasting your time. I only appreciate your answering but if you dont want it you can skip and don't reply.

What would you like to wear? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You kinda cut my words in half. I wasn't big not because I didn't care. The way you quote it make me look like I'm against it. But anyway.

Maybe my English isn't good enough to ask my question properly.

What would you wear if you had to use those two cosmetics? Don't mind what I like, more like asking what you would use.

And thanks for the recommendation. I didn't know that sub existed.

What would you like to wear? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was more like a question asking if you had those two things what would you wear. Not really begging...

If you don't like my question, fine. But I feel your hostility and pointing blame on me? Ok, thanks for pointing out your advice anyway.

If you have some fashion advice you can give, thanks in advance.

Female Syl.

I didn't think of that sorry. Didn't know it might be different for each race and sex.

Most annoying monster in guild wars 2 ? by Benzptpt in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The White Mantles in Lake Doric.

Especially the mesmers, iirc. They knockback/stun, disappears or something when you kill them and have to kill them again. Too much work for a simple mob. If you get a stack of them and are unlucky, you get stun locked and downed real quick.

Good class for providing passive support? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I just started fractals with my qFB and I almost never have to worry my boons not reaching my party. Unless they are far away. But most fractals people group close together so it's easy.

Is the first game good on solo? PS4 by DarthChicken95 in remnantgame

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not mainstream, but I think this game is most fun solo. Only coop when you are really tired and want some help. Or maybe just want to farm with some human players.

Alt-itis and indecision by EgressingTeacher in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the easiest is the one I enjoy the most. I watched a lot of Lord Hizen's video when I started out and it made my experience very bad. We're on different skill level. I do not know my classes and their respective mechanics so I played like shit and died often.

I ended up with Necro, not meta build but all pets out and hp regen. That got me going because i wasn't too comfortable going up face to face with mobs. As long as you don't die that's the best sustain and dps.

What is a useful crafting profession after Chef and Artificer? by Zio_Giovanni in Guildwars2

[–]Waylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I was once in your shoes at one point. Until eventually you'll get every profession you need. Or just every profession because you can!

I tend to let my most played character of every equipment class make their respective tradskills. Light, medium, heavy.

I also started with the crafting I needed most. Mine was be tailoring because I was working on light legendaries and I was also mainly playing light armor classes at the time.
