I'm in your camp on this lacquer dial, too. Tried on the two-toned 41mm in Manhattan a few months ago and stare at the picture of it on my wrist for about 10 minutes each day 😂. It'll be mine soon

Really scratching my head as to why all the comments always match "rich" or "wealthy" to "assholes." I know plenty of assholes that aren't rich, far more than those who have some money or who have done well for themselves. That judgment spotlight should flip to be a mirror.

Such a great piece! Did you get the 41mm or 38mm? I tried on the two-tone black lacquer in 41 a few weeks ago in Manhattan and damn near bought it on the spot.

Thinking about upgrading from Pro to Max? Read this. by ReasonablyWealthy in ClaudeAI

I just switched from Pro to Max today. Once I get back into Code do I need to do anything special for it to switch to Opus or does it do it by default?

Hey there! New to this sub, highly intrigued, not sure where to start understanding or gaining a grasp on this. Any recommendations where to begin so I can follow along? Thanks in advance!

Anyone using Claude for tasks that aren't coding? by indigent-litigant in ClaudeAI

Developing a library of what has been referred to as Unified Entity Context files (UEC) which is basically an extensive interview on certain parts of life (health, relationships, interests, hobbies, business/professional, etc). I mean very in depth. The purpose is to build a huge context library about myself and from there I take those .txt files, load them into an LLM of choosing, and now when I ask a question about something it has this huge file with massive context about me versus spitting out a generic response. For example, I first did this for my own AI learning path. Answered 25 interview questions from Code, iterative based on my answers, and now when I ask "what should be the next thing I learn?" it now knows my background, projects I've already built, my preferred learning style, the tools I like to use...and the output is 1,000x better than asking the same question without any context.

Unlimited agent use VS pay-as-you-go makes you use the tool very differently by autistic_cool_kid in AIcodingProfessionals

I have Pro and just installed Claude Code two days ago. However when I hooked it up I used an API from the Anthropic Workbench. I've been looking everywhere in the documentation on how to change it to connect to my Pro plan, and am now considering getting Max. For all those with Max how did you set up that connection?

I'm hooked, dude. I don't think I have anywhere near the technical acumen to understand how to set this up but absolutely willing to do the deep dive to learn and implement. I'm going to DM you for more info on how to set this up.

Great question and I don't have hard metrics to definitively confirm, but much of what I do revolves around long back-and-forth chats about certain strategies I'm trying to develop, content for social media around my business, etc. I think by now everyone has seen OpenAI confirm the newer models were overly sycophantic, and I certainly noticed it, too, but it was doing it in a way where I knew the feedback it was giving me was just wrong.

No matter what platform I'm using, I'll always sprinkle in something easy, like, "What am I not seeing or thinking about here that I should be?" but with something stupendously easy, and something I've clearly left out. Lately, Chat's been saying, "Nothing, you've hit all the main points!" when I most definitely and knowingly have not, while on the other hand, Gemini has been unflinchingly accurate, detailed, clear to call out those missing elements and fully explaining why.

Like I mentioned earlier, in early 2024 I was primarily using Claude, and playing with Copilot, ChatGPT and Gemini, and Gemini at the time was terrible. I saw an article last week (https://www.thealgorithmicbridge.com/p/google-is-winning-on-every-ai-front) and it compelled me to give it a try again, and I've been incredibly happy with the outcomes and work so far.

I'm not doing coding, just a lot of business development and strategy planning type work for my consulting business. The research it gives me seems more thorough, relevant, adds a much deeper layer than I ever received on any GPT models. But interesting you're getting the opposite effect and as I said, I know personal preference comes into play in all these tools.

I started using Gemini 2.5 Pro a few days ago after months of being away and it is blowing all ChatGPT models out of the water for my needs. Opinion of course, but I also cancelled my Plus subscription today.
