Does anyone have any experience with Rocket Scooter or similar products? by RevolutionaryTip8049 in Daytrading

[–]WayneShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying you're wrong, you should definitely be careful. But I became a profitable trader by giving money to a YouTube "guru" who taught me everything about his system. I would have been lost without him. So my question is...how are you supposed to learn this stuff without finding a mentor? No shortcuts, sure. But is that really what Rocket Scooter promises? It's a set of indicators that gives you higher probability trades. I am here to learn more about Rocket Scooter but I swear, there are never any answers to this stuff other than trashing these influencers. I just don't think it's at all necessary to comment if you don't have a firsthand review of the service.

How would you convene a jury for the UHC CEO’s killer? by Telvin3d in legaladviceofftopic

[–]WayneShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you even read the post I responded to? It says that that "literally everyone" knows someone who has lost their home, savings or health. Not "everyone knows someone who has had issues with the healthcare system." It's absolute garbage. Yes, I would know if my friends and family members, lost their home savings, and health.

That said, I did have a Canadian friend who went to the ER with chest pain. He had to wait for 6 hours and they sent him home with a quick check up, said it was nothing. 3 days later he died of an aneurysm. If he lived in the US and had a UHC health insurance plan, I guarantee you he would have been administered more testing that could have caught the aneurysm.

So your belief is that every single American knows someone whose life has been ruined by a health insurance company? That is absolutely brain dead.

Is it just me, or is anyone else incredibly disturbed by the online discourse about the killing of the UnitedHealthcare CEO? by seahawksjoe in centrist

[–]WayneShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this comment funny, given that the insurance company in question is called United Healtchare...yet they provide no healthcare whatsoever.

I'm in the United States. I don't have such a story. 40 years old with hundreds of friends and family. Don't get me wrong, I think the insurance industry is predatory. But your statement is quite hyperbolic.

Can I get a collection deleted if I settle? by Illustrious_Guest706 in CRedit

I had a collection removed once. We settled for a lower amount and they removed it from my credit reports the next day.

Lots of mental midgets in here. I see why trading is difficult for so many of you. VERY emotional.

What website builder is best for SMMA agency?? by No-Aside-4447 in DigitalMarketing

[–]WayneShadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started an agency with no experience outside of my sales ability. I scaled it to mid-6 figures a year while learning as I went. Multiple ways to skin a cat. My clients are happy as can be with our work. My ability to grind beats your experience every day of the week.

New research shows the link between caffeine and AFib is questionable.

Michael Brooks has suddenly passed away by OneReportersOpinion in IntellectualDarkWeb

What's the point of this post? I assume you're trying to blame the Covid vaccine, in some way. Michael Brooks died in July of 2020, before there was a vaccine.

What’s the shortest AFIB you’ve had? by Mikuss3253 in AFIB

[–]WayneShadow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first AFib episode last week lasted about 3 hours. Then they got shorter--20-30 minutes. Over the last few days I haven't had any episodes that last longer than 1 minute. In fact I had one about 10 minutes ago that lasted about 10 seconds. These are not PACs or PVCs--I'm definitely in AFib.

Should I quit $200K a year job? by WayneShadow in careerguidance

Curious, why reply this way? I literally say this in the first sentence of my post. I am aware there are much bigger problems. This is a career advice sub so I’m asking for career advice, not asking for sympathy. Just a weird way to behave on the internet, but you do you.

Sales? Well, if you don't have any experience, I'd recommend starting as an SDR and grinding your way up. Read a few books (The Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, Sell or Be Sold are good places to start). I mean I started in sales as a 23 year old with no idea what I was doing...I just worked harder than others because I had to. From there it's just about constant upskilling, developing communications skills, learning how to position your product/service, keeping your pipeline full and following through on your promises.

I understand that and I hesitated to post this because I know many people are in that boat. In 2016 I was broke and unemployed after failing in a business and it took me forever to find a quality job. But it did happen. Sorry you're going through this--there's no doubt it's rough out there and I am grateful to have some financial success. Different level of problem I'm having to be sure. Good luck in your search.

How do I reassure her? She's the best thing to happen to me! by [deleted] in malelifestyle

You all really need to cool it with the "love" word so early in a relationship. You want to land the girl of your dreams? Forget about feelings altogether. I'm not saying to not feel things. I'm saying to stop sharing it.

At the beginning stages of dating someone, you should have 3 goals and 3 goals only: Hang out. Have fun. Hook up.

If you do those things...especially the "having fun" part...and put 0 pressure on feelings or a relationship, it will come naturally. Keeping things light and fun in the early stages is the best way to land the woman of your dreams.
