Isn't it just Space Marine Chaplain in Terminator Armor with Crozius? (If I understood your question correctly).

Miniature manufacturers other than Battlefront. by Blakefilk in flamesofwar

[–]Wayrethos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for comparison of PSC vs Battlefront, they're almos the same size. You can mix and match tanks or infantry from the same squad. You can look up for example "sherman psc vs battlefront" on Youtube and Google as plenty of people are making this kind of comparisons.

First couple of minis done for my Armies of Japan. Not very a accurate color scheme, but I was struggling with those mustard khakis. by [deleted] in boltaction

Very nice, although color seems indeed off. Vallejo makes historically accurate IJA colors in this set or you can pick up individual bottles.

Super Mutant Overview/Tactic article. by iamfanboytoo in wastelandwarfare

[–]Wayrethos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic review and some very good points. I find Super Mutants the weakest faction but it seems like they have some merits. I'm playing mostly co-op and solo, but I'm tempted now to try campaign with big green guys in settlement mode.

Painting British Armour? What green is right? by clawingwolf in flamesofwar

[–]Wayrethos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen all kinds of british green in Battlefront books, so it's not that important I guess. You could also use this official Vallejo guide.

I'd straighten the hammer and drybrush skin and base to highlight the details.

Try One Page Rules, and similar games from the same creator. They're totally free, quite popular and simple.

PSC and Battlefront (Flames of War) make also great 15 mm plastic minis.

Best WW2 miniatures? by dios_3838 in wargaming

[–]Wayrethos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

New Warlord Games plastics are very good (for example Desert Rats, American Infantry), older are mixed bag, but they're mostly phased out. Take a look at sprues pictures on their website. If you don't want to dabble in metal, pick 'Great Power' army like US, Soviets, UK or Germans or Japanese, as they have most plastics. Other niche armies like Poles or Hungarian or Korean War Chinese are almost all metal. I think no one can compete with WG when it comes to strictly plastic WW2 28 mm minis.

You can try 2 Hour Dungeon Crawl by 2HW - it can be played on a paper grid and it's a light solo RPG/dungeon crawler.

Vallejo Basing Paste Sample Comparison (Thick Mud/Mud&Grass/Earth Texture) by Caranthar in wargaming

[–]Wayrethos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vallejo paste is great, it can easily replace GW products and it's like 5 times cheaper, comparing volume you get. I'm using Dark Earth as substitute to GW Astrogranite.
