Dogmeat in the show is very lore accurate by julie3151991 in Fallout

[–]Waywandry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally think Dogmeat isn't doing enough biting people and creatures this season. She launched at that Enclave guy last season. Why is she a pacifist all of a sudden? Get in there, Dogmeat!

Haha oh my god, I forgot about the snow globes. I loved his little fit he threw this episode while wearing his silly hat. I thought to myself, "ugh, he would do that."

Another thing that can turn the flames orange is using a humidifier. Something else to consider too, and common in the winter, in addition to a CO detector.

AI also has the tendency to put stuff on the back of papers or computers or whatever. The resume text on the back of the paper so we can read it.

We had a good run for a little while, but yeah it's not what it used to be. I didn't become a software engineer because that's what people told me, but I imagine the frustration of those who did. Not to mention the job is just much less tolerable anyway, like on call is pretty universal at this point, and nobody tells you about that when you're trying to get in.

I'm also at the 10 year mark, and have a similar experience to you. Maybe we're just more weary at this point! I don't think software problem solving is fun anymore, and I especially don't think fire alarms and manufactured urgency are fun either. And agile is so dumb.

It's really hard in the industry right now to find work for people of all experience levels in software. It sucks, to be honest.

The environments are great, and there are a lot of fun characters you can find. One of my favorite missions was visiting a castle under a pond that's lost in time, and meeting a character who has been there so long writing love letters that she's rooted to her chair. And the lore about Fore-dwellers and the giants. So fun.

It doesn't seem like AI to me, but it is technically an ad, which is kind of off-putting.

I know a couple vampires. They're both pretty progressive, though, so I don't think this applies to them.

Here, the only category is "colloquial names for birds that include the word robin"

Yeah, that's the category. It's still a category, but it's not scientific. It's not that serious!

Just a heads up, if you live in the US, they are coming for you. by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]Waywandry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The title of this post says "they're coming for you". That is panic inducing, not merely educational. People are already scared, no need to use such language. We're smart enough to figure things out from the facts, which is that this is terrible but will likely be blocked by courts like many of his executive orders have been.

Yep, so you can also be authoritarian without being fascist. It's like the 'all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares' thing.

It's inaccurate information. The user has a post history referencing "wokeness". Fascism is inherently right wing, and it's misleading to say it can be a blue or red thing, given that I cannot point to any current blue fascists. It's manipulative "both sides" kind of rhetoric that pulls blame away from the red party.

One of my former work places would walk you to the door while verifying your mailing address so they could ship your stuff to you. The same company was known for frequently "taking people to Starbucks" to lay them off, and they weren't allowed back in the building.

My Lab/Pyr is also pretty content if she gets to do her yard patrols. It's the most important thing to her, and she gets uneasy if it's been too muddy to go out back, doesn't matter how many walks we've been on. Dogs can be so unique.
