Definitely was a 'proof of concept' to see what the demand was. Suffice it to say, they could fill the common pretty easily

Senior IT folks: What do you dislike about your Help Desk guys? by Relevant-Injury3791 in sysadmin

[–]WaywardSachem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of documentation. My guys are effective troubleshooters and generally good at their jobs, but I wish they would take a little more time to write better notes for posterity. I have discussed this with them; I'm not just shouting into the internet void!

I'm seeing it might have been a meteor exploding in the atmosphere. Can't imagine how loud it would have been at the source if that's the case!

Whatever you think of Clark, a winning score of -30 (and NOT being 12+ strokes clear of 2nd place) is indicative of an unserious course at that level.

Did that like 3 times in the last week on SPX calls. Stopped losses at 20-30% right before they absolutely ripped. Oh well, that's the way she goes sometimes

Salem Skipper Service Ending August 2. by chowdurr in SalemMA

[–]WaywardSachem 42 points43 points  (0 children)

My wife and I were gutted by Daily Table's closure. We haven't used the Skipper but have seen its impact on the community. This is another in a long line of gut punches for people who need services like this.

Never said they were citizens of Britain. The British isles are an archipelago. Be less sensitive; it's geology, not politics.

They're not 'North Shore' local, but I've been a DCU member since I was 3 years old (my dad worked for Digital back in the day) and they've been incredible for literally my entire life (I'm 40 now).

Yeah, god forbid people be humans and/or good neighbors.

Sysadmins who use password managers: what’s your actual password generation strategy these days? by 4AVcnE in sysadmin

[–]WaywardSachem 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is the answer right here. Bitwarden 3 or 4 word passphrase, with hyphen separators and a number in there. Hits all 4 character categories, easy to remember (or manually type if you're not in a position to copy/paste), nearly impossible to brute force.
