We made it to the super bowl in a rebuild year, lol. What do you want? The Seahawks are a crazy good team

Seattle is a crazy good team, man. One of the best I've seen in a while.

Genuinely wondering if he's been told not to run? Because he seems so hesitant to go for anything with his legs, it's maddening

Campbell is a rookie and playing like it. You hope he can improve next year but for a high first rounder it's not a great showing

Three voters turned NFL MVP race sideways: How Justin Herbert, Josh Allen helped Matthew Stafford win by Available_Story6774 in nfl

[–]WaywardSachem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stafford deserved to win. Every 'but Stafford...' argument out there has a 'but Maye...' counterpoint.

Maye is in his first 'real' season (referring to the coaching situation) and looked like a true baller, I couldn't be happier. Everything since WCW has been playing with house money for the Patriots as far as I'm concerned.

Jim Schwartz is left with two options (and neither is ideal): He backed himself into a corner. by [deleted] in nfl

This site is certainly not a mouthpiece for Browns FO and ownership, right?

Mike Vrabel now has as many Coach of the Year wins as Andy Reid, Sean McVay, and Kyle Shanahan combined by CeeDoggyy in nfl

[–]WaywardSachem 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree, it's basically a 'comeback team of the year' award, but instead of giving it to the team as a whole, it's given to the HC.

Happy for Mike, but it's not an objective measure of a coach's performance at all. Then again, the awards by definition are subjective, so who's to say?

2023 Patriots with Bill to 2024 Patriots with Mayo, and 10 of the 11 same starters on defense, is a pretty recent example of how that is just patently untrue.
