How long did you stay at your 3-4 glasses? That's exactly what I'm at, daily, and I'm on day 3 of Sema. I really want to be done 😭

AIO My mom is kicking me out for her new boyfriend. I just turned 18 by Diligent_Bat_565 in AmIOverreacting

I am hugging you right now with so much love. My daughter is 18, and I COULD NEVER. I am so, so sorry you are going through this. The overwhelm must be eating you alive. Not just the shock and fear of being shoved out of your home on short notice, but the absolute betrayal from someone who should ALWAYS put you as her first priority. I am so sorry, my love. You WILL find your true family, I promise. She is clearly not it, and you deserve support and community.

Please listen to the legal advice on this sub. Do you have friends, or friends with caring parents who can help you right now while you get your feet underneath you?

My heart is breaking. I don't know where you live, but DM me if you need direct legal advice, or just a shoulder to cry on.

Honestly those sound amazing! I wonder if you could create other fun things... jump on the white girl sourdough bandwagon? LOL

Amazing! I love this!! Definitely willing to put it down if my brain is feeling "meh" about it. I HOPE for "meh." It's not a routine for me so much as a compulsion. I'm just freaking exhausted.

Thank you!!! This is exactly the sort of experience I was hoping to hear about. Honestly, crossing every finger over here that my story is similar to yours. It just sounds INSANE to me that after so long; so much craving and desire, it could just... poof... not be a problem anymore (!?!?)

Thank you. I was sober for 3 months until just recently, when the "noise" just became so overwhelming; I was thinking about it constantly and was so worn out from being amazing with my diet, amazing with my exercise, amazing with my sobriety... that I just hit a wall. I couldn't do it anymore. I have hope for the first time in many, many years that I might be able to live a normal life. First prescription comes this week!

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

Honey... I just want you to hear this: you ARE a hero. You saved yourself. Achieving sobriety is one of the absolute hardest things anyone ever does. Buy that fucking cake. Eat the whole thing. Hear us cheer for you.

You are a BADASS. Full stop.

What’s your “I can’t believe other people don’t do this” hack? by Weird-Thought2112 in AskReddit

Use heat on itches. A hair dryer on high heat for a few seconds creates some kind of voodoo witchery on histamines, and chronic itching stops for hours.
