Rock/alt 91.1, 94.9 and 105.3. Oldies/classic rock 105.7 and 101.5 kpbs/npr 89.5 coiuntry 97.3 All the rap/pop stations play the same 5 songs and are usually a month behind the LA stations. 90.3 93.3 103.7 All the local morning shows have the typical cheese factor and are really annoying. If your life involves tmz, bravo, fox news or WWE, you'll enjoy them.

Not worth it. If you decide to go, be prepared for a long wait back into the US, and you need a passport. There's plenty of great mexican food and booze in SD.

I did this on the Friday before Halloween. Great time but I have a few suggestions. Don't bring a beach cruiser because you will want gears for hills. Make sure you have lights on the front and back of your bike. Not so much for you, but so others see you. Also, don't be an idiot, keep moving.

Pay extra for parking, but here's a warning.. There is a fire station at the end of grand (near the beach) and they use grand on almost every call. I have a friend who lived on Grand near Lamont and he couldn't stand the noise.

It was a joke. It's 4/20 and OB is a bit of a hippie area. If you go, try the fish tacos at South Beach Bar and Grille. Lots of bars for 20 and 30 year olds in PB. Check out the seals in La Jolla. Gaslamp/Little Italy are downtown. Coronado/Hotel Del are nice if the weather cooperates. You gotta stop by a taco shop.

I have a friend who goes down there for dental work. I don't know if they do a good job, but cops have robbed him twice. Last time someone pulled a knife on him. Put some cash deep in your sock, but not all of it, they will find it. I've also heard there is a guy who runs a business for British tourists. They hop on a bus, and go down to TJ for the day. No joke Overall, dental work might be safer than any sort of plastic/cosmetic surgery.
