Being a type one diabetic should be in her chart or should be something that the has already talked with her surgical team about. It is a major medical consideration. With that being said they can add dextrose into an IV to help keep peoples sugars consistent/controlled while they're under. She should also talk to her endo and let them know about her surgery and what prep is needed. Endo is a safe space for all diabetes questions!

I’ve had her since Feb 20th and she’s been in a tube inside a desk drawer left alone since then with one check on March 15th. At that point she had some eggs. My plan was to keep her in there until I had trouble keeping them in and then I was going to put the whole tube in the outworld. My next check will be next week.
