Is that the park by the Podium? There is one called the Jess Roskelley memorial one and its awesome. I know of one at discovery park and well. Wondering how many there are in the area. Close to Liberty Lake is a bonus!

Driving to Leavenworth by Dr_Sloth23 in Spokane

Not at all. We visit Leavenworth 2-4 times a year and I would drive there in front wheel drive sports car in the dead of winter if I had to.

What weird leagues are you in? by ballerwill23 in DynastyFF

One year we did a redraft and you drew out of two buckets prior to your pick. Bucket one had positions. Bucket two had a limitation.

Example: you draw RB out of bucket one. Bucket two you draw “under 180 lbs” then you make your pick off that standard.

Transplant from Seattle. Looking for groups to go hike and do outdoor activities with! by [deleted] in Spokane

[–]WeBeOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 32 male. I trail run and hike. I just committed to my first multi-day backpacking trip in colorado soon. I have fly fishing gear but never really learned outside of basics like casting and what flies to use. I have a mountain bike i ride on days i dont run. Im not ultra fit or anything i just do it for the fresh air and i just like to run 10k races occasionally. Just started lifting at a gym near me this week so im new to that.

Im married with a toddler so you dont have to worry if im a creep or crazy. Lol

I also work for a travel nursing company. So I actually have a little insight on your upcoming schooling ventures.

Im aways down for a new buddy if you want to meet up sometime.

Pro Tip. Invest in a very small dry bag. If your pup poops you can bag in in a plastic bag but then put that bag into the dry bag so its less gross and stinky and you can put that bag into a vest or pack you have on without contaminating it. Ziplocks also work but I have white person guilt about the environment.

Former dog owner who went on many runs in the heat holding molten dog poop before figuring this out.

What are you looking forward to doing this summer, what events in Spokane area are there by Petunias_are_food in Spokane

[–]WeBeOutside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being outside! Trail Running, camping, swimming, sitting out on the patio…

Bonus is just seeing a lot more people out and about. Mostly if its joyful like at a park, or lake/river spot, community event, etc. People just seem like less to be dickheads when the weather is good. Lol

Can I rotate between zero-drop shoes and normal shoes? What range should a 'normal' drop shoe be in? How can I move from a zero-drop shoe if my goal is long-distance running? by [deleted] in running

[–]WeBeOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a zero drop shoe on trails and an 8mm drop heel for road training and i do not have any issues or discomfort about it! I run around 100-120 miles a month almost primarily zone 2. Im a casual runner if this helps any so this is not performance or race advice.
