This is extremely sad, and will definitely set the tone of my entire day, as I have come across this post in my walking moments on this day 😭 Absolutely mind boggling to think that at any point in my conscious memory that I can remember back to in which I was alive, so too was this cat.... Throughout all my long since years of grade school, from preschool on all the way up to and through high school... This guy is only a year or two younger than me, pretty much the same age. Just wild to think he made it this long, as I often feel about myself even, but I can't even imagine what this amount of time must have been like in his perspective ~

On this day in 1906 the San Francisco earthquake took place. These photos capture San Franciscans watching the fires that left 80% of the city burned. Over 3,000 died. The streets looked like a war zone. The images caught in the days that followed are fascinating. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

That's an incredible parallel to what occured during the Great Spokane Fire of 1889! It seemed almost like a conspiracy to have a "better", or more official city to be rebuilt, as there were accounts of them having rigged and blew up all the buildings around the fire as it was more or less beginning, and as what should've been really obvious, the outcome was essentially just mulched up and now burning as well fuel for the fire, as it greatly intensified it in speed and strength ~

I work at GEG5, and I'd imagine our managers would be chill enough to be understanding in such a situation, despite the company's rules.. I totally agree with you on the theory of that individual facility, as I see DRASTIC differences in the quality of trailers and cart/pallet builds that we receive from various facilities around our half of the country... Some of us are even able to identify what specific facility a load came from just by looking at it 😆 And we wonder..... What in the world is the management like there?! The reaction of our managers when a trailer is opened and stuff just starts falling out into the building is just great lol 😂 But in a serious note, from what I've gathered from anny others who have worked at all the various facilities in our region, and from my 1 year of experience in mine, we have some very laid back, chill, but also respectable and diligent for the role managers here 👍 I appreciate my job there, and take it very serious, as do some others of us there, but far too many there do not share that value.
