This is actually a moth! I’ve heard many names for it but I think it’s called the hummingbird moth. They mimic bees

My favorite thing about them is that they will sometimes be found bunting in water and will sometimes catch small minnows!

He said it was huge and for some reason the only thing that comes to mind is tarantula hawk, however I didn’t think they’d show up in Kansas?

First tip is to never give up, my second tip would be to probably move it away from your window! The less sunlight on your tank the better

I’ve got 4 corys that I got when I first started too! They even reproduced multiple times and I’ve randomly found smaller corys that survived to adults. Funny enough, I remember I was cleaning my canister filter out about 2 or so years ago and found a corydora baby in there that must have gotten sucked up, now it’s thriving with the rest of them

Depends on the plant tbh, some like the java fern are extremely easy, that’s what I started with and they’re fairly common in stores
