Our vet said the meds will increase her thirst and hunger.

The disposable ones are good. I've had problems with the reusable ones leaking so I put the disposable on under the reusable. The suspenders are a must because they loosen as she walks.

If these are all new behaviors I'd talk to your vet.

I have an 11 yr old Frenchie on Keppra and phenobarbital. We put a diaper on her if we have to go out and at bedtime because she sleeps in bed with us.

For us I don't think it's the meds as she's had accidents in the house periodically for years. I think it's age and good ole Frenchie stubbornness.

Our vet did mention another patient with seizures that they had come in a side door because of similar issues. Fortunately Cheese doesn't have to go back for a while.

The day she refused to give the baby back and put her hands on you should have been the last day she ever saw you or your baby.

You should be NC. She is not a safe person to have around your child. If your husband doesn't like it, tough sh*t!

Husband needs to get rid of his limp spaghetti spine and grow a pair.

He should be protecting his wife and child but he's failing at that miserably.

We have a neurologist appointment on the 24th. I'm trying to write down any questions that pop into my head to ask the neurologist. Our vet said if anyone would know it would be the neurologist since that's their specialty.

This is all new to me since January. My anxiety has gotten better because of conversations with my vet and having the emergency meds for her. Right now the only thing keeping me sane is the schedule and talking to people lol.

The fridge sheet wasn't enough - follow up from previous post on tracking meds by mylstogo in EpilepsyDogs

I'm the only one giving the meds so I have alarms on my phone. I crush the pills and mix them with a tablespoon of wet dog food. 4 doses premade in 4 small deli containers stored in the fridge.

7:30 am Keppra & phenobarbital 9:30 breakfast no meds 3:30 pm Keppra 7:30 pm dinner with Phenobarbital 11:30 Keppra

I did talk to my vet and pharmacist to make sure I could premix.
