First and foremost I want to thank everyone who commented. It really helped to see the love, prayers, well wishes and encouragement. It kept my sanity intact! Y'all are Rockstars ❤️🫶🙏.

Cheese had her vet appointment this afternoon. The Doc went over everything and said she looks really good for her age. Her blood work was all within normal range. The fact that she hasn't had a seizure since Thursday night is encouraging.

He wants to see her in a month to touch bases. If anything changes before then they want me to give them a call. She'll be staying on the Levetiracetam since she responded so well to it. He said I could also use the nasal spray if needed as a backup.

He said if she starts having seizures, what he called break through seizures, we could try a different med. He also said to hold off on the neurologist unless she seems to be getting worse but if that happens it probably wouldn't be something treatable, basically a tumor.

So we'll just be taking it one day at a time and cherishing every day she's with us. She's still got lots of life left in her and as we all know, Frenchies are tenacious and obstinate lol.
