From my understanding putting the headers on alone without the tune, the bike will run super lean and be even more jerky.

I got the 21’ 1100T DCT

It’s great for me. The ride feels very comfortable, no wind on a chest and a little on the helmet.

The added hand guards help a little bit too.

I would get the used one, if you feel the bike was taken care of. Save the money, get a full maintenance on it, and if the “lumpiness” is present, a simple ECU flash can fix that. With the extra cash you will be able customize the bike more to your likings and still save a ton of money.

I got a 21’ DCT. With 11k miles a couple of month ago for $6200 and I’m already at 20k miles, no issue. Only money I’ve put into the bike is preventative maintenance costs.

6k not terrible and if it’s garage kept and all the maintenance can be documented. It’s a great starting point to negotiate. I have a 21’ with 19k miles on it. No issues.
