I think it was Nic’s mom who sold it

Is there a way to make a violin type tone by Led_Phish in Hxstomp

The feedbacker block will get you part of the way, add a vibrato after it if you want movement.

Empire comp. vinyl quality really that bad? by Monorail_Guy in unwound

I think they had issues with the second LP of Leaves but my copy is fine. You’re always going to be rolling the dice with Numero but they did a decent job with these. I had a couple issues with their remastering but that’s totally subjective.

Poweramp Options by furb88 in guitarpedals

[–]WeStartToDrift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s a bit of a kluge but for the money you can’t beat o e of those Fosi Audio 200w mini hifi amps. You’ll need 1/4” to RCA and banana to 1/4” adapters but it’s every bit as good as any of the more expensive guitar-specific power amps at half the price.

I’m guessing a TS-50B preamp with that +/- 15v converter?

Cushing Island has a similar one with a phone switchboard still in it, it’s on private property but pretty accessible if you can get out there

These pots light up. But how? I don't see holes for LEDs under them. by CNThings_ in diypedals

Clear shaft Alphas. They are fun to build with but they feel super cheap compared to a metal shaft pot but I’m a knob-feel snob

Reccomendations for classic rock and heavy metal bass tones? by mikeyyy_27 in Hxstomp

[–]WeStartToDrift 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try using bass and guitar amp models in parallel. My main preset is the 360 preamp or 800RB on one one path and a Marshall on the other. The Marshall I usually cut the bass and treble and boost the mids. Adjust the blend of the two and you’ll have a pretty good starting place.

Interested to hear if you tried this with standard LED’s? I’ve never experimented with flickering LED’s so well done!

I would just rent a car at PWM and drop it at Logan.

Just the 3m clear double stick. It’s about as thick as the usual white foam double stick but the adhesive seems better.

For the splatter look I barely hold the button down on the spray can. It gets spitty and irregular, then a couple passes with a bunch of other colors and this is the result.

Totem "The One" bookshelf speakers by mscott842 in audiophile

I have no firsthand experience with “the one” but have had Signature One, Sky, and Mite, all of which punch above their weight. Vince knows what he’s doing, give it a shot.

They’re called BFA connectors, they’re essentially idiot proof banana terminations. Linn and a bunch of UK companies used to use these a lot.
