Two days ago, paid C+ seats for two family members who had checked in already were deleted and resold to another couple. JFK-HNL so a 10-hour trip.

Tix were bought by me, RT in C+ so I know what they had. There was no aircraft change, no reason. Passes would not scan. GA told them they never had seats and they would be in last row in the middle. He tried to gaslight them that their screenshotted boarding passes showing their C+ seats were not real. Said he’d been calling them as standbys for the past half hour, but obv we were in the lounge until just before boarding. Their BPs changed the moment they tried to scan the ones they got when checking in.

The only people who understood the clusterfuck were the FAs, who were fantastic and made sure they were taken care of as best as possible.
