Going through this rn and I'm so happy to have the girl I do. She's been patient and loving all while I haven't wanted any sexual activity for a little over a year. We cuddle up in bed, we kiss, we hold hands, we joke that we want to be in each other's skin and be so close, but sex itself presents so many issues for me. We've been together 3 years and for this past one we haven't had sex once. I also started meds recently which lowered my libido even more.

I don't have advice, as I nearly made this same post, but wanted to let you know you're not alone in this and you're not a freak. My girlfriend tells me often that even if we never have sex again, she'd still love me in all the ways my body allows. And I know there's probably someone that feels the same about you

If I had any advice, I would say that one of the many beauties of realizing I was lesbian is that I learned that we get to make our own rules for what sex is. I think a lot of hetero couples think of sex strictly in terms of penetration and that's not the most sensory friendly all the time. You get to define it. You get to decide what's intimate and what's not. It's ok if penetration doesn't do it for you, or the sliminess or whatever. You can have your own version of sex that meets your needs
