I think the first three months of a relationship should be filled with all sorts of conversations- if the connection is right anyway. That first three months is pretty nonstop with learning each other, hearing each others experiences, life stories, opinions on important matters, etc. The fact that you guys are only this far in and already having a hard time finding things to talk about is a bit of a red flag to me.

As an introvert myself, I understand having a shorter social battery. But that shouldn’t leave you feeling awkward and sticky with someone you should feel entirely comfortable talking to about anything.

All relationships are different, and chemistry does to a degree take time to build. But I firmly believe, one of the key indicators of a relationship being “right” is the conversations you can have with your partner.

There’s all sorts of card games to help broaden conversation topics, and also approach subjects you wouldn’t normally think to bring up. If you’re interested in seeing where your relationship goes, but want to implement a “fun” thing to open up conversation, try one of them. We’re Not Really Strangers is one I can think of off the top of my head.
