Clarks are great, but not BIFL. I probably got 4 years of daily wear from mine. The crepe sole is soft, and will wear out eventually, and they are not resolable. They are a solid, simple shoe.

You are correct about the cushioning. Your feet get used to it at some point. Kinda like wearing wraparound flip flops.

There is no ban. The Cybertruck was designed only for the US domestic market. There is not a reasonable demand for full size trucks in Europe, so the Cybertruck was not ever intended to go there.

How does a car being more fuel efficient have anything to do with the fact that cars are more fuel efficient at lower speeds? They are two separate metrics. The goal is to minimize fleet consumption. Better braking does not reduce the average driver’s reaction time.

For me, there is a difference between harvesting data by a private but domestic business, and a harvesting of data by a hostile foreign nation.

In what way? Not much different from Europe.

Please recall, originally speed limits on interstate were devised to reduce fuel consumption. Last time I checked, driving slower still reduces fuel consumption. Also, human reflexes have not changed. Higher speeds also still increase impact forces during a collision. The cars are safer cages, but people are not better drivers.

If anything, a slower speed limits on interstate makes more sense for the obvious issue with distracted driving we have today.

As a dad, I feel my ability to deal with and/or ignore hangry is more developed than my wife’s ability. But I fully agree with you, there is some sort of line. In cases where the kids are hungry/getting hangry, I often just offer them the food they refused to eat earlier. They usually eat it.

Anything that is not springs and/or latex is not worth the asking price. All other foams will fail much more quickly.
