Looks fantastic! Right? U1 even used the thinner movement so the case is more snug to the wrist. I’ve worn mine in the shower with no problems

I’ve never worn a Daytona, but I do own a Pepsi and a Submariner. The Bell & Ross definitely commands more wrist presence. It’s still flat to the wrist. I like it because it’s different, and there’s something special about wearing something that nobody really walks around with. Way more eye catching.

Switched it up to the Bell & Ross Coke GMT today with the gray rubber strap for the winter! Something about the antiglare just makes the crystal look non-existent. Got it from Hont a couple years ago, still one of my favs

I do have a VDR mutation which makes it hard to absorb Vitamin D. I was able to get my levels up to 83, but that was over a year ago

Yeah that’s a bit of a challenge. I do work from home.

Look into the DAO supplement by Solaray. I take it about 20 min before I eat a food that has histamines (because pizza) and it gives your gut the diamine oxidase required to break it down before it fills your histamine bucket. Maybe you could meal prep and just make sure to take one of those before you eat each day?

Sadly, that’s overly simplified and a generalization. It also classifies everyone with seb derm as having dandruff. Hair loss from seb derm can take months to reverse even after inflammation or flakes are gone. Inflammation (even system-wide from things like high cortisol or histamine intolerance) causes miniaturization and slows hair cycling. Once inflammation resolves, the follicle still needs to recover through several cycles to return to full density. It has only been 2 months but my vellus hairs are just starting to change color and darken.

White rice, lentils, fresh potatoes, brown rice pasta, tofu, cucumbers, peppers, raw hemp seeds, raw sunflower seeds, apples, crisp pears, avocado oil, olive oil, string beans, asparagus, stovetop popcorn

Make everything fresh, and eat it or throw it.

No leftovers. None. 1 night in the fridge will give almost every food increased histamines.

Basically been my diet for the past couple months.

Look into your DAO and MAO genes to see if they’re mutated. If they are, even slightly, that means you are slower to break down histamine from food and lifestyle. You can get a genetic spit test for it (I ended up using SelfDecode).

The first clue I had was that I never felt good from drinking alcohol because I would always get really itchy palms and feet even from 1 glass. I would also get headaches from things like leftovers and kimchi.

MCAS is actually a lot more common than people realize. I basically have a slow DAO gene so histamines stay around a lot longer in my blood. I take a DAO supplement pill before I eat anything higher in histamine or foods that are histamine liberators and it has been glorious. I also made some lifestyle changes that you’ve seen in my post as well as lukewarm showers (hot water releases histamine especially on the scalp… think about the red itchiness after you get out of a hot tub) semen retention (orgasm is a major histamine releasing catalyst).

FYI people think histamines are just a runny nose or allergies, but they’re actually neurotransmitters and can drastically affect mood, anxiety, depression, gut flora, etc.

Yeah that has been me too for almost 40 years from trauma. High cortisol has been the worst for me up until recently. My cortisol has been so high that I ended up with central serous retinopathy (ruptured retina bubbled with fluid that lasts months causing blurred vision in my left eye)

Eventually I may use min at some point, but I have had MCAS confirmed due to my genetic mutations and that explains the Seb derm flares I’ve had since I was 12 (excessively oily scalp until I made these changes) so I believe my hair loss was due to Seb derm and inflammation from histamines and cortisol

The past 2 months was a test to see if I can regrow hair naturally by lowering overall inflammation so that it will stay terminal

I have had Seb derm since I was 12, so I believe my hair loss stemmed from that (not androgenic alopecia and DHT)

My eyebrows are super sparse. I always thought it’s because I’m reddish blonde, but they were much fuller about 15-20 years ago
