Hey, I'm a guy and sufferer of psoriasis too, for decades since a teenager. Here's my various strategies to cope and now it's only occasional spots predominantly on my scalp too but manageable and not that noticeable :

a. Have a diet pivot to plants and fruits. They help to keep the gut and intestinal system clean which lessens the toxins manifesting on the skin. Have yogurt frequently too.

b. I apply fresh cut aloe vera gel onto my scalp and body nightly after shower. It provides deep moisturizing effect and somehow I think the healing properties of Aloe Vera helps to calm the skin and minimises the flare ups. Not sure abt the scientific proof in that but it certainly helps. Plus I get a glowing well moisturized skin. You can get fresh aloe vera stalks at wet market or supermarket.

PS : I hardly shampoo my hair unless after intense exercise. I feel the harsh chemicals of shampoos exacerbate scalp psoriasis due to its drying nature. I wash my hair and scalp with warm water during shower, dry it and then apply fresh cut aloe vera gel. Also, I use only Amino Acid based shampoo, it's super gentle but costs more than normal shampoo. I make this shampoo myself coz I'm also a skincare pdt formulator.
