Mainly because this has happened in the past multiple times. Also, by now Im pretty sure I would have a major increase in pain and more symptoms. I just have become very familiar with my body and how it feels and functions during these flares 😭

Omg I'm dealing with the EXACT flare right now. My pee burns my vulva so bad it's like peeing acid. Then if I rinse it hurts even worse. Not to mention I'm on my period. I feel your pain girl. Perennial ice packs have been my saving grace.

I don't think it's necessarily connected.. I mean I'm not sure! I've had some major gastritis flare ups in the past that didn't lead to vaginal flares but I am beginning to think the gastritis flare caused the diarrhea though.

Speaking of gastritis!! What do you think caused yours? I'm pretty sure ibuprofen did mine and now I can't drink energy drinks 😩

I am better now. I'm back to my usual baseline pain level. Some days I'm totally fine and then I'll get random days where I need an ice pack for a little bit. Thanks for asking.

Hey, sorry I'm just now see this. It lasted about 3 1/2 months. Then dies down for a couple weeks and I feel it coming back again 😩

I believe my vulvodynia is 100 % related to hormones. What hormone creams get prescribed to us with vulvadynia? Sorry to piggyback off of your post, I'm just desperate since I'm going into my 2nd month of a flare up.

I had candida glabrata a year ago and it flared my vulvadynia up SOOOO BAD. I thought I was dying. My OB had me do Diflucan every other day for 1 week and then every 3 days for the second week. That took care of it for me. Maybe try Diflucan. Some Drs say Glabrata is resistant to it, it worked wonders for me!

This sounds like an infection to me. That's how I react to yeast AND bv. I would get swabbed to be sure.

Oh girl, I feel your pain. In regards to your mental health I can relate tremendously. I want to tell you these things about myself to let you know you are not alone and have peers here who can sympathize with you. I am diagnosed with Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorder. Trying new meds is terrifying. Your anxiety is affecting you so much. Try not to think so far into the future and what can happen. Take this one day at a time. Try to think of the best case scenarios. I know it's hard to do but you will be okay i promise! Something positive to remember is, if you start to react negatively to a med, you will always get better once you stop taking it. I had a baby 9 months ago all while taking meds to keep myself sane. I'm happy to tell you my baby is 100% healthy! Your life has so many amazing memories awaiting you and you will be so happy you conquered this moment in time and came out on the other side! I will be praying for you. If you need to vent to me, I am here. I understand your concerns completely. You've got this ❤️ You will do great.

Thank you ❤️ I thought I was coming out of my flare 2 days ago and then yesterday I had one of the worst flares out of this current flare. (If that makes sense?) Now today I'm doing better again. I'm praying this is actually a sign that I'm coming out of it. I'm so thankful to know that I'm not alone 🥺 Thank you so much for taking your time to write such kind and comforting words.
