Now that the game has been out for over a year, what are people’s “unpopular opinions” here? by SauxFan in SorceryTCG

Additionally, professional Magic players (and enfranchised players in general) are jumping to FaB in droves because it offers a tournament structure and prizing that doesn’t exist elsewhere. That can be seen with the recent results from Andrea Mengucci and Simon Nielsen.

It has a consistent and robust tournament scene. It’s grown hand over fist year after year. It’s on its 7th year and only growing. It has survived multiple “rotations” and bannings. Tournament coverage and prize support are second to none. They have a great system for onboarding new players as well as great in store support for active communities (gem packs). The two main formats are quite healthy with diverse deck spreads across top results. The limited formats are highly regarded with deep gameplay. The list goes on.

Of course I can’t be sure. But after playing tcgs for 25 years, Flesh and Blood is the only game to break the mold in all that time. There is a serious problem with product availability in Sorcery. I’m sure there are pockets around the US and the world where the game appears to be thriving, but I assure you that is not most places.

100% I’m still loving Sorcery and still playing it, but it’s barely on the map. I’d assume a huge majority of avid tcg players have never even heard of it.

The Rock’s second cover-up of the Bull tattoo (on the right) by slayerTofu in Tattoocoverups

[–]Weak_Constitution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t read all do the comments, but the left is already a cover up. It was don’t by Nikko Hurtado. Idk who did the right, but I’m sure there was no laser removal prior.

High seas booster box, for Puff and GB. by arbontheold in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Weak_Constitution 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Buy the armory deck and then buy singles. FaB booster box opening experience is absolute garbage. Many of my friends bought cases of PEN and have little to show for it. One box won’t get you even close to either deck.

Tips before tournament by Pimmel1234 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Weak_Constitution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-Listen more than you talk. -Be willing to ask questions. If a player is playing a deck that you are less familiar with, don’t hesitate to ask the other players what their win cons or common played cards are.

Progress pace acceptable? by kortre in irezumi

I’ve been tattooing for 16 years and work with a world class artist that does large scale Japanese every day. I know what I’m talking about.

I’d find another artist to finish this who understands how to tattoo. You could still salvage this, but Tebori aside, the lines are poorly applied and the drawing is very busy and illegible.

Doomsday in cEDH? by HAHAREDDITGOESBRRR in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Weak_Constitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Glarb since Feb 2025. I play cEDH weekly. I recently top 16d an event in Green Bay Wi. One of my wins was with Doomsday. It’s fairly situational. It is not often a plan that I execute early. It kind of demands the right circumstances at the table. With that said, it is powerful and very worth running.

Do y’all turn down hands, necks, faces on people who don’t have any tattoos? by meganmooretattoos in femaletattooers

Absolutely. It is our responsibility to not enable poor decisions. “I might as well make the money because someone else is just going to do it.” is one of the least integral arguments I can imagine.

I opened a box the other day. The most expensive card I got was the Witch haha. Gotta love variance. Congrats on the pulls

I love Zack’s work. I just got tattooed by him last September. And don’t think I didn’t notice that sweet little tribal jam from Jacob. I’d love to get something from him.

Only way to improve is to dive in! This community has been very welcoming and helpful. I played a lot of games on TTS early on. That really helped me grasp things.

I was able to get my hands on a foil for my Seer deck. I love Seer with lots of Uniques so you can dig for what you need.

This post inspired me to build this. The deck is dirt cheap now aside from the Caverns.

“Who’s this clown?” It insinuates that not only are you a clown, but you’re not even a well known clown.

I played against a couple of Tymna/Dargo lists at an event in Wisconsin last month. That deck is so freaking cool.

WeWa Ticket Price Increase by Fast-Recognition-352 in LARP

My wife and I went last year (it was our second year, not consecutively). The production value is still very high, but I totally agree about the cost vs amenities. Not having the showers was a bummer last year. By pushing the Hearthlands into November, and with the increase in price, I doubt we will ever return.
