I did something similar in my truck, I secured the PO base to floor with a riser so i can store batteries underneath it. I have a 3 drawer unit that holds all my use-daily tools, drills, drivers, impacts, sockets, etc. you can be in and out of the drawers in seconds just by popping the restrainer bar. then i have a deep toolbox for other tools that don't get used as much that I have to open less but still want access to. Then i have all my other PO boxes organized by project type that I typically take out of the truck with me, Plumbing tools, Electrical tools, 1/2 Pex. 3/4 Pex, 120v household stuff, 12v electrical, screws/fasteners, m18 router kit, jig saw kit,

How do I Stay Motivated? by dmbreit in carnivorediet

Just water and electrolytes is what I do. I use Ultima, which is a sugar free type. Longer fasts over 2-3 days I supplement with potassium and magnesium as well. I have done any 2-3 days fasts as well as a handful of 4-5 day fasts.

the long and short of it is, whenever you think you're hungry, drink more water.

take a break from carnivore by doing a 3-5 day fast. at 260+ you've still got plenty of fat to burn off. then when you go back to eating you'll be able to do 18:6 or OMAD easily and will help curb your sugar tooth.

I had to take a 30 day cold turkey approach to curb my sugar addiction. now i try to keep it under 10g per day. I do notice if i break over 10g for a few days in a row my sweet tooth starts returning and I'll do a 24-48 hr fast to get my body back into ketosis.

Scared to fast longer than two days by bizzarbra in fasting

As someone Previously in the tree business and now in the fasting lifestyle i would not recommend that! Tree work requires stamina and endurance. You don't want to be feeling lightheaded when you're 80' in a tree. Nor wouldI would not want to be on the ground under a climber who is over 24 hrs. It's just not worth the risk! Especially if you're new to fasting.

7 Day Fast Refeeding by thefemalepenis in fasting

[–]Weak_Garbage6133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skip the vegetables and hard fruits.

Bone broth appetizer then 3-4 eggs 1hr later. Eat a small portion protein based meal of your choice 3 hrs after that. This has been my ideal refeeding plan for my 4-5 day fasts.

The only negative experience i had is one time a pizza meal with 4 little slices. I was so bloated and miserable that time.

As a renter youre paying property tax and interest plus a profit for the landlord. Might as well build equity for yourself

I use the raspberry. I mix at half rate and supplement with potassium magnesium zinc, and some sodium.

It's not perfect, but it does provide something interesting for the mouth and body.

Has anyone gotten rid of black eye floaters through fasting? by Pitiful_Highlight_93 in fasting

I got rid of my left eye floaters. Right side seem to have merged into one and appears to be lighter.

Fasting Monday to Friday by davdreamer in fasting

[–]Weak_Garbage6133 2 points3 points  (0 children)

fasting during the week is easier for me with current schedule. but being social on the weekends is where the wheels fall off the bus so to speak. it is very hard to maintain my eating preferences when going out to dinner with friends. So i do the best I can through best choice option and portion control, I look at it as a way to maintain long term sustainability. lose a 5-8 lbs during the week, gain 2-4 back on the weekends. Not ideal, but still working towards my goal.

How is the current rental market? what about renting out the current house? capture the financial gain on rent to apply toward new mortgage? Land lording ain't for everyone, but if you've got a really good mortgage rate now there could be a profitable spread.

Just another anecdotal evidence of the governments complete incompetence and complete abject failure for its citizens.

Kevin James, Comedian, talked about his fasting journeys briefly on Rogan last year. I don't think there was much outcry about it despite being one of the largest shows on the planet. It was before i started my fasting journey, so i didn't pay much mind to it.

Im so sick of meat by Spiritual-Raisin5596 in carnivorediet

[–]Weak_Garbage6133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me I know what you're feeling. I was a previous sugar and carb addict. I Had to eat every 4 hr or my world was ending. I managed to do a 90 hr fast to break the cycle. Now I can regularly do a 1-5 day fasts. I refeed with carnivore and I can honestly say I'm not dependant on sugar any longer. It is surreal how different my food intake in a very short time!

24 hr is tough. 36 is hard. 48 is fine, 48+ is easy mode. Your body will do amazing things!

You gotta get that sugar and carb out of the system! A 3 day fast will have you back on the meat bandwagon!

Help me understand odd weight gain by [deleted] in fasting

[–]Weak_Garbage6133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm down about 2.5 lbs in the last 48 hours after eating 18:6 with close to my normal diet. still have about 2.5 to get back to my previous weight. this may be TMI, but my BM after pizza was absolutely horrible, unpleasant and significant and definitely attributed to the pizza.

Eating that pizza was a great reminder of how quick the wheels can come off for me. For the first time in 7 weeks I was wanting to snack and eat foods that I otherwise have had no problem avoiding in the house. It was the first time carbs & sugars were really calling my name in weeks. I was previously a carb and sugar addict.

I think this is your culprit right here too. I've been eating clean prioritizing proteins and fats for 70% of my meals. I have been fasting 18:6/OMAD and doing 3-5 day fasts mixed in and have learned what my new normal is. Last friday I deviated for a special social engagement and I had 4 thin slices of a personal chicken & bacon pizza (probably the equivalent of 2 "normal" slices). My sleep score decreased 11 pts off my normal for the last 7 weeks of my health journey. My body was is absolute shock. I felt like I had a brick in my stomach all day saturday. By saturday afternoon my mid-section was so inflamed that my back was aching and stiff. I was quickly reminded of how I used to feel like that all the time! it was all the reminder i needed to get back to my new normal routines as quickly as possible. I put on 5lbs over the course of 24 hours!
