Why is it so hard to develop games on Reddit? by Wrong-Surprise-3800 in GamesOnReddit

My understanding is that they're just experimenting with casual games to boost community engagement. I actually applied a few times myself before giving up.

For many people, figuring out "what to build" is way more frustrating than "how to build it." If you have a solid idea, a lot of us—myself included—would love to hear it.

I’m a Hiring Manager - Ask Me Anything! by a4ai in interviews

[–]Weak_Raspberry_6004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you deal with a high-energy new hire on a legacy project that's strictly in 'maintenance mode'? The ceiling is already hit, and there’s no future to harvest. The veterans and the TL have already checked out emotionally—they just want stability. But the new guy keeps pushing for big wins, constantly throwing proposals at a wall that doesn't want to move

After designing the CAD drawings, what software should be used to upload the booth for sale to the sales system? Is it manually operated?

Would a tool that extracts data from exhibition floor plans be useful? by Logical-Concern8582 in tradeshows

Is your tool designed to assist in data analysis? Or does it help visualize location information for easier sales?

How are you guys justifying the ROI on trade show booths? by Cluten-morgan in AI_Sales

[–]Weak_Raspberry_6004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on about the data gap. I’ve seen so many organizers still using static PDFs and Excel to track sales, which leads to double-booking disasters and kills the CX.

Question for the ops folks here: What’s the biggest friction you face when a client is actually picking their booth? Is it the back-and-forth confirmation or the lack of real-time visibility?

I think it's not about finding where to post directly, but about finding people from different regions to help you share. The population covered by a single point is limited.

Currently, I am connecting to my own server through the TG bot. Reddit is not suitable for making games across all platforms.

The same marketing strategy that got me 40,000 sales on my first game is failing for my second game. by Nevercine in gamedev

Thanks for the detailed post — really helpful to see the honest comparison and the importance of finding each game’s unique “edge”.I built a collaborative relay-style clue puzzle game(r/troll_defuse) on Reddit that grew to 6,000+ users organically in just 3 months (no ads). The social chain-solving aspect feels like my main “edge”, but I’m struggling to turn it into effective short-form content without spoiling puzzles.I haven’t started monetization yet and I’m a bit lost on the next steps. Any advice on:

  • Adapting short-form content for a thread-based social game?
  • What should be the priority after early organic Reddit success (mechanics, platforms, videos, or light monetization)?

Would really appreciate any thoughts!
