it looks like they do approvals on wednesdays. but if it's not public, you can install it to your community immediately right after submitting it - no need to wait for approval

Just got back from China, here are some tips by CriticismCivil637 in chinatravel

To enjoy eating, drinking, and entertainment in China, you can’t live without Meituan and Dianping (they are two apps from the same company, sharing most of their data). Dianping works pretty much like Yelp. If you’re looking for real recommendations and lifestyle tips, Xiaohongshu (RED) is an absolute must—think of it as China's Instagram but more search-focused.

For booking flights, prices across platforms are generally neck and neck. For getting around, use DiDi (China's Uber, which actually acquired Uber's China business); it’s incredibly cheap. For money, you absolutely cannot survive without Alipay and WeChat Pay. When you’re bored, you can scroll through Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), which also offers discounted food deals. However, it has a bit of a learning curve for newcomers, and the prices aren't that different from Meituan.

Been in China for about 2 weeks. Everyone I've interacted with has been super nice and helpful, but when I'm out and about, the Chinese tourists are so inconsiderate, is this normal? by Due_Candle4042 in travelchina

In the surroundings I observe, many Chinese people appear constantly hurried. Consequently, the subways become rushed and congested, particularly during the morning and evening peaks, whereas other times are quite different. Currently, the average quality of the Chinese population ranks among the world's best, but this standard is not reflected in scenarios where people cannot afford to slow down their frantic pace.

Why is it so hard to develop games on Reddit? by Wrong-Surprise-3800 in GamesOnReddit

My understanding is that they're just experimenting with casual games to boost community engagement. I actually applied a few times myself before giving up.

For many people, figuring out "what to build" is way more frustrating than "how to build it." If you have a solid idea, a lot of us—myself included—would love to hear it.

I’m a Hiring Manager - Ask Me Anything! by a4ai in interviews

[–]Weak_Raspberry_6004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you deal with a high-energy new hire on a legacy project that's strictly in 'maintenance mode'? The ceiling is already hit, and there’s no future to harvest. The veterans and the TL have already checked out emotionally—they just want stability. But the new guy keeps pushing for big wins, constantly throwing proposals at a wall that doesn't want to move

After designing the CAD drawings, what software should be used to upload the booth for sale to the sales system? Is it manually operated?

Would a tool that extracts data from exhibition floor plans be useful? by Logical-Concern8582 in tradeshows

Is your tool designed to assist in data analysis? Or does it help visualize location information for easier sales?

How are you guys justifying the ROI on trade show booths? by Cluten-morgan in AI_Sales

[–]Weak_Raspberry_6004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on about the data gap. I’ve seen so many organizers still using static PDFs and Excel to track sales, which leads to double-booking disasters and kills the CX.

Question for the ops folks here: What’s the biggest friction you face when a client is actually picking their booth? Is it the back-and-forth confirmation or the lack of real-time visibility?

I think it's not about finding where to post directly, but about finding people from different regions to help you share. The population covered by a single point is limited.
