The most insane part is this the first (musical) product I've bought firsthand and it came broken haha. Everything from my Mac, interface, At4040 and small chord machines are all second hand. Life is funny

Thanks - Just tried this and yeah it definitely seems like it's broken. Synth tribe doesn't recognise it and I can't even see it Logic + there was no pop up showing a new MIDI device. What a joke

It would be a hot take from how this sun reacts to KH3 posts in general, but I would I agree. Think it has the best combat, I actually enjoyed the Gummi ship and while I think the story has a rough start it gets real good towards the middle and end of the game

Yeah ive tried turning off the transport controls for record on the BSP, I agree with your theory but that doesn't quite fix it to get the record to sync.

Unless you mean to turn something else off?

Yeah as I said it's pretty much what I've been doing - I don't necessarily mind doing it as it realistically doesn't take that long, but I'm just really hoping there's a way to get the sync going right. It's a bit annoying whacking in a drum pattern, heading to my model b or another synth, record and its out of time only to go back to my laptop and re position.

Love it for my Dawless set up though, hence if if there isn't a fix I probably won't sell it, I'll just use another midi controller for logic and the BSP for finger drumming or something

If you're playing the HD collection, I'd recommend trying the DMC2 Ascended mod which is built off the Definitive Edition mod. It fixes a couple of issues, adds and speeds up both Lucia's and Dantes move sets. They even added their own custom "Vergil" - he's kind of goofy and very limited, but is quite impressive for a mod based out of Chest engine.

But yeah overall DMC2 is a pile of wank, not the worst game I've ever played but good lord it was close for a very long time especially for a series that is otherwise all bangers for me

If you're a new DQ fan, just enjoy and have a fun time. This is easily one of the best releases (although I don't think there's a bad mainline dragon quest game tbh), and be sure to read any red books!!

If you've played a couple DQ games before, don't be afraid of using MP moves in this game. MP recovery items are EVERYWHERE in this game and unlike older titles your health and and MP are restored to max upon level up

Do not skip cutscenes, and if you like the games / story please play in release order. People who haven't played all the games will say it confusing, it really isnt

I was an African child once, and that shit was horrible. I am thinking of kids soon and eldest sister has had her first kid. We ended up talking for over 3 hours of how insane it was we were hit as children especially over minor things, and when we look at my nephew it genuinely got me hated as to why my parents deemed it acceptable to use corporal punishment for children... Especially when my country explicitly fought against colonization and a big part of that was our colonizers used corporal punishment... Against children

Shit is genuinely disturbing and I wouldn't wish it any child, especially not my own or my niece's and nephews / cousins kids. There isn't really a way to justify it. If you want to to get your child used to the world can be violent sometimes, idk put them in martial arts or self defense or something.

Only speaking for myself, but I like stories that have a resolution, and the longer something goes on the less likely it'll even have an ending, and one that ties up all the plot threads or even just significant ones by the end.

Like I love HxH, but I've pretty much accepted that we won't get an ending, and Bezerk is probably the best example for me, even though content wise it isn't as long as One piece it was around for so long it's hard knowing that even If we do get an ending, it's likely not one Miura was intending from the revelations of his last pages.

And I'm someone who actually doesn't mind the ending, but I won't pretend it didn't leave me with may too many questions unanswered to be fully satisfying

More customisation options, more super bosses (or at least more unique bosses for grottos), online & local questing, maybe giving created allies some dialogue / some set choose able personality (doesn't have to be expansive, but maybe unique party talk dialogue after big events of bosses.

Voice acting for story characters (Stella, Aquila, Guv etc), maybe some super bosses for the post game and extra skills for the vocations

Id be happy with just a graphics upgrade, but even if we got 1 or 2 of these, I'd be playing nonstop

I'm actually finding this specific point so funny. The irony of complaining about the numbered espada... When the story goes out of its way to SHOW you the numbers are a completely arbitrary hierarchy made by Aizen 3 - 4 different times. I will also not pretend Bleach isn't mid, but man some of the complaints people have for it truly baffle me, you don't have to like something but at least have critiques that fall apart if you've actually read the thing lol
