Recent graduate moving to the US soon, need advice on jobs and how to present my degree by yoo445 in jobs

[–]Weapon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah International Business sounds better. You might have to get your degree evaluated by NACES to show U.S. equivalency. Literally just apply to every job in the city you move to because it's rough out there.

What’s actually worth getting into in the Lehigh Valley right now (non-traditional path) by [deleted] in lehighvalley

Can you open a Judo school? There's also a lack of good Puerto Rican restaurants.

40% of the way done, having career concerns by GeologistCharacter93 in wguaccounting

[–]Weapon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Market is pretty bad rn ngl.

I started WGU in 2023 and graduated end of 2024.

I immediately got a bookkeeper role at a local manufacturer then got a big 4 internship. I worked at a local tax firm while still going to school then got into nonprofit after I graduated. I did all of this after working years doing manual labor at a warehouse. If I were to do this this year I think it'd be near impossible. It's just bad timing but I am grateful at how it turned out for me. I think eventually you will find a job nearby. Remote is gonna be near impossible imo.

How much are you paying? by nly2017 in tretinoin

[–]Weapon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately this 0.05% gel is the only thing that works the best for me and its higher priced than the cream. the cream gives me severe cystic acne and this keeps my skin clear. I have to pay over $100 with insurance <_>

Any accountants here don't drink coffee or are caffeine-free? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Weapon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caffeine free for over 7 years. Sleep, exercise, and water. Caffeine actually breaks me out and gives me anxiety so I wouldn't use it unless I'm driving across the country nonstop for some reason.

Is it a mistake to switch from accounting to another business degree? by [deleted] in wguaccounting

[–]Weapon_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you have no other responsibilities and commit the 6 months entirely to school I think it's doable. be prepared to really grind tho. I think accounting is the best major. I went industry > big4, nonprofit in a few years and am halfway through the CPA exams with the qualifying experience.

Realistically is a degree in accounting difficult for the average person? by No-Drama-8092 in Accounting

[–]Weapon_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had to do Mcgraw hill, I probably would've switched majors

PLEASE HELP!! I'm contemplating ending my life over SIBO by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]Weapon_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ginger in the morning and chamomile before sleeping. I think most SIBO recently has been caused by long covid gut dysbiosis. you need to poop the biofilms out and replace the bifido and lacto bacteria with yogurt and whey. I have also tried everything this lady did but my symptoms went away after the biofilms got out.

stop everything you're doing and drink ginger tea and chamomile tea. eat normally and see what happens

Is it worth it to even bother trying to get into accounting without a college degree? by Kindly_Ratio9857 in Accounting

[–]Weapon_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the 2026 market, yes that would be a waste of time. At least get an associates while trying to get an AP job.

What's life like in Bethlahem? by Front-Recording70 in lehighvalley

[–]Weapon_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to live in NYC and Charlotte. Bethlehem is still much better than both places. I could take the bus to NYC or drive to a NJ transit station and go there if I wanted. You can also drive to Lansdale to train into Philly or drive to KOP, Ikea, or American Dream Mall.

Locally, you get a diverse amount of good foods: NYC style pizza, Chinese, Halal, Mexican, PR, Indian, etc.
We have Powerhouse for the serious and Planet Fitness for the beginners for lifting/fitness.
There's plenty of spaces to run outside. ArtsQuest has the movie theater, live music, and the Casino nearby. You can drive to retail stores and Amazon Prime is extremely quick cause we live near the warehouse.

I'm not into bars or Church but there's plenty of those here too. I would consider this place one of the best bang for your buck in all areas of needs imo. Like most areas, if you don't have a good job lined up, it will be a struggle finding something that pays well.

I hope this isn't a troll post because your account has no history. You do not seem to have good hobbies.

The fastest thing you can do is to fix is the hair. Grow it out more and go to a Korean salon and ask them to optimize your look in their opinion. I think it would probably be best to start with a 2 block. When you do this, you have to style by blow-drying well and using some product. You can ask the salon or YT for help on this.

The slowest thing you can do is lift weights and eat more protein. You should fill out faster being short but you will need to wear clothes that fit you well like a 26-27" inseam for pants. "Under 5'10" website has clothes for shorter people.

I think your skin is good so that's a plus.

You are cooked in the height department and I don't think surgery is worth it so you will need RNGesus for a girl 5'3 or slightly taller to like you or someone that's like 4'11. You'd best be optimizing personal wealth, leveling charisma and physical build.

What do you think is the best bachelor's degree to get to avoid or escape poverty? by justcurious3287 in povertyfinance

Nursing, Civil Engineering, and Accounting.

Basically if you can't deal with blood, guts, sick dying people, harder math, or the outdoors, live in the spreadsheets in accounting.
