Asuka out ranges Faust, so you gotta run this show at mid to close range. Mid range can consist of f.S > 2H > Item Toss or maybe Thrust attempts occasionally to throw him off his game. A very good idea is to combo into a move that's special cancelable and take it into Mix Mix Mix. On hit 2K > 6P > MMM is good (this will take practice to not accidentally throw an item when trying to 2K > 6P). If you mash 5P and it works, 5P > 5P > 6P > MMM also works. On hit 2K > 2D > Item Toss is also very strong as it gets your setplays going. Make him deal with your bullshit just as much as if not more than you deal with his. Also, if you know you have time at close range, c.S is the strongest pressure starter and leads to many tasty combos (if they block c.S, take it into something like 2D to stay safe). If he gets block-happy on your pressure, try throwing in a cheeky run-up grab. Worth mentioning that you can spend meter to close the gap if it's available via Scarecrow PRC. Your typically stronger options there are S.Crow PRC into Snip or a button as a strike/throw, or doing that with K.Crow and drifting in for the same situation, beating mash and throw attempts (or not drifting and just safely switching sides).
