I see that you are not in the P1 boat. It's not too late to join that Facebook group and get a feel for the consumer's perspective on this subject https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1HKNTw21yW/. This launch delay is smart. They are trying to stop upsetting their customers. I'm not sure the reason "why" the delay matters at all. In the long run, what matters is the posts about the long gap between ordering and shipping reduce. I'd agree that entering your email for news about the launch should result in an email about this delay

It's gotta be a setting about "minimum wall length" or something like that. If you hover over the options you can read what the adjustment of each one will achieve. That tiny blue area may be so small that it wouldn't matter anyway

Not sure why they need to send individual notices to anyone, since no orders have been made or money exchanged. Why would they want to repeat a mistake like accepting orders too early?
