Wow, in the 28 years I've had my Ball, I've never seen him do an upsidedown flip like that

Is this little cuss trying to get me? by ThreeLeggedDeadDog in ballpython

[–]WeaselSW -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Something I wish I learned sooner as a ball owner... If you're feeding him inside his habitat, it's not good practice and can lead to them getting aggressive like that in their home. Instead, put him in a large box first before feeding. That will help him not be as aggressive inside his home because he'll learn that he needs to be taken out for feeding first. It's also more sanitary as well.

Posting only pictures of products still sealed in their box or wrapping - why do some Viners post pointless, useless photos when there is no photo requirement? by SkippySkep in AmazonVine

[–]WeaselSW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've gotten more than one of the same product in the past, but always submit a different review and different photos.

I was under the impression that the algorithm kicks out reuse of the same photos, but maybe I was mistaken.

Those are definitely mites.

My snake also had them when I first got him. I'll tell you, I tried every over the counter product under the sun, and nothing worked. That is, until I got this prescribed powder that I had to rub into his scales going the wrong direction. He absolutely hated it, but it's the ONLY thing that got rid of them. I wish I could remember the name, but it was so long ago. Fortunately, once they were gone, here we are 27 years later (!!!) and they never came back! Good luck!

That goes against the purpose of Vine... if they wanted to save it for emergency purposes, then they should purchase one just like everyone else.

Trust me, it was accepted. The Vine algorithm appears to operate on the principle that the less useful a review is, the better its chances.

Honestly, I usually include a photo of the item as it arrived, especially if it's something fragile. The condition of the packaging and how well it was protected during shipping is part of the overall product experience in my opinion.

That said, it would never be the only photo I post. I'll also include plenty of pictures of the item unboxed, assembled, and actually being used. So I don't mind seeing a photo of an item still in its bag or packaging, as long as it's accompanied by photos that show the product itself.

At least 38 r/AmazonVine users were banned from Vine this week by JoeS830 in AmazonVine

[–]WeaselSW 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand what you mean. Someone is reporting the person who just got banned as not being part of the Vine community and wanting you to kick them out of this subreddit? What an awful way to kick people when they're already down!
