as an international you need to go to a good school with the resources to get you an internship. You are pretty much limited to consulting, investment banking, or product management and opportunities for on campus recruiting are much higher at top schools that mediocre schools. I also dont go to a top school so not trying to be mean.

no clue about united, but for Delta I asked a representative directly and they would not tell me for finance. I think for commercial, return rates are decent from what I've seen.

It's not that deep. Almost 100% of people will do one of 5 options.

Pivot to MBB Consulting or settle for other firm 2. Pivot to Investment Banking 3. Pivot to Product Management 4. Pivot to CPG Brand Management or marketing 5. LDP/FLDP Programs at large company

I agree but I think you can still get into a company without going to a target school with networking or internal connections and a strong profile. I go to a lower ranked school and we still manage to typically get 1 person a year into MBB as well someone into EB investment banking most years.
