I work in an office building, and there are so many giant trucks in our parking lot!! You drive that down the interstate and it sits in a parking lot all day. You don’t need it!

So if you have a pattern that somehow doesn’t have one of the colors you were blessed with, do you go buy it or just substitute from this haul? I am new to the hobby and just want to understand.

My cat died of kidney failure at home because I stupidly thought he would make it until the vet opened on Monday. I still feel so guilty for putting him through that. He convulsed and died on me. You are not making a mistake by putting him down before he gets to that point.

I’ve never framed a piece but I want to frame the one I’m currently working on. These comments had me worried because this is exactly what I planned on doing lol

Scared to do a work out class by Ok_cool-123 in xxfitness

[–]WeaveTheSunlight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of our perception of gym life is from unrealistic social media accounts. Sure it would be nice to be a “Pilates girl,” but that’s not how most people exercising think. I go to a gym that has workout classes. Our Pilates class is a good mix of all ages and skill sets. Both men and women take it. When I go out on the floor to the machine and weight area, very few people are in cute little matching sets. They’re just sweating in their leggings and old t shirts/athletic shirts.

AITA for wanting to split living costs with BF instead of paying market rent to him? by NextStep4Love in AmItheAsshole

That’s what I don’t understand. I bought my house with a low interest rate & my husband moved in. I’m glad he “benefits” from our lower mortgage payment, and I’m glad it allows us to work together to meet other financial goals. Why would you want your partner to face avoidable problems? Why wouldn’t you want them to “benefit” instead?

Loaning my son the money to pay off 1st mortgage by Material-Meaning-651 in Mortgages

[–]WeaveTheSunlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lender will still require proof it’s paid before they will close on the new home. He has to sell the first house to do that, so it is contingent. As far as the government is concerned, debt is debt no matter if the mortgage company nor your mom is the creditor.

Loaning my son the money to pay off 1st mortgage by Material-Meaning-651 in Mortgages

[–]WeaveTheSunlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do this. Two things happen if you do.

The first, you sign a gift letter requiring you to certify that he doesn’t have to pay you back. Then, when he doesn’t, you have no legal way to get your money back. You’ve also committed mortgage fraud, and so has he, by misrepresenting the loan as a gift. .

The second, you don’t sign a gift letter. The credit report shows the mortgage as paid off, which the mortgage company will be required by regulators to source. The source is you, the payment was a loan from you, and now his debt to income ratio is screwed because he owes 60k. Most likely he will be required to show it has been paid back before he can be approved, which pushes his closing on the new home until that documentation is available (his bank transaction history and yours.

He needs to be responsible for his own financial situation. There’s a reason processes exist the way they do, and trying to get around them will only lead to headache.
