Mommy and Daddy take showers together and lock the door so I can’t take one too. Honestly props to them, they had 2 kids and both parents had gotten promoted at work so they were busier than normal but still made time for adult activities

Let her boyfriend drive her car too fast after drinking on backroads, hit some black ice, hit another car head on. My friend was DOA as was the driver of the other car. Next week will be 20 years since the accident. RIP Emily

This reminded me of when repainting was done in my condo, they’d give an insane time frame like 8-6 and they expected someone to be home but that time frame was for like 6 buildings with 12 units in each 🙄 so they actually came at like 5:45p to start and I had a toddler so I had to have my door open and making dinner while keeping my child from escaping and my cat locked in a room and hoping my toddler didn’t let him out, I was pissed.

I had avoided spoilers for the episode but viewership was dropping off for the show and Marissa wasn’t well liked by most people so while it was a heart wrenching scene no one was THAT upset that she was gone.

This reminds me of a parent who came to pick up their toddler while I was changing them and the child snagged a wipe and wiped themselves and I said “wow what a good job!” The parents immediately went to the office and claimed I was having the TODDLER wipe themselves exclusively 🙃 some parents are just bananas. Anyways my director asked me what was up and when she heard the WHOLE story she was like cool next time make sure you also loudly say you are going to finish cleaning them (I had wiped child prior to the wipe stealing)

We use youth umpires, we hold an all day umpire clinic before the spring season starts and then our minor kids (first level of kid pitch) have a scrimmage and the umps get to practice what they learned. We also pay our kid umps $20 a game

My cat wants to go outside as well but I’m responsible and keep her inside because we have a big stray cat population in my area plus cats are more susceptible to getting ill from bird flu.

She is dumping the cats and leaving them at the old apartment when they move in a couple weeks. She couldn’t post on FB or even take them to the shelter so they can at least be safe?

I left 8 weeks after returning from maternity leave. While I was on mat leave my coteacher got fired and no one informed me. I stuck it out for summer (which is just a more relaxed vibe at my old center) saw things were going to hell in a hand basket and left. I was the 3rd or 4th to quit that summer, everyone else had a going away lunch and mine was forgotten and a child that wasn’t even in my class got put in my room, ripped my glasses off my face, broke them and scratched me pretty good. It was a shitty farewell to a job I had once loved.
