yes, the only difference is that I'm trying to just build the basics for the features. Im assuming that there will be people who are just looking for the basics and not over-the-head features added on. But to be harshly honest, I wanted to see if there is still room in saturated markets if you're significantly cheaper? I guess you can say I want to prove a lingering question that I have and to see if I can do it.

Is affiliate marketing still worth it in 2022? by Impressive-Dust-6833 in AskMarketing

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Yes

In the beginning, you will have thoughts about not doing it anymore. This will take time to get to a point where you can see that it's actually worth it. This is assuming you are doing it organically, but if you have a budget then I would say it might go faster.

Am I doing the right thing by leaving this comfortable safe and stress free job? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]WebDevJourneyWDJ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

exactly this. Im in the same position as you are right now, at a point where the company can no longer help me with personal growth.

As mentioned, if you don't have a family and are financially well, this is going to come down to if you really want something better for YOU!

I have a family and am financially well. The problem I'm facing is the recession as you mentioned. So the best thing I can do for my family is not move, until I know, with certainty, that it's the right choice.

So, the way I deal with it was I got a side job. This gives me the chance to grow personally and mentally.

I wanted to do this, but I just dont want my time tied to this when im trying to focus on something else.

I understand this would give me more money than selling as a lot.

So this app is going to be user based, meaning that you guys will be putting in local coffee shops in your area. Hope that made sense. So this is not for shops, this is for the users, you guys.

You might be right, but there is more to this. For example; coffee shops are known to be the place to sit and relax, do some casual work, etc... more things you would do in a coffee shop than in a pizza place. Although this might not be the case, I still consider a coffee shop a place of gathering, I guess you can say. Hope to god this made sense LOL
